This could have been an absolute amazing experience. It was a celebration trip for my son's 21st birthday, to which I told the host in advance. My son and I had never been to Boston and I paid extra for an early check-in. Upon entering the property, my son and I could immediately tell the previous residents hadn't left. Their luggage was sitting there and the residence was dirty. My son and I had no choice but to wait for the prior booking occupants to come back for their items. You can imagine both of our horrors and screams when they did. I received only my early check-in fee refunded. It was unacceptable. Then my son and I had to wait for the cleaning staff to arrive. Utter nightmare in a strange city. The residence showers had no blinds on all the windows, I used garbage bags for privacy. The showers had no shelves or anyplace for a bottle of soap let alone other toiletries. There were 2 microwaves because one kept running. The master toilet never stopped running. I paid an astronomical price for this place for it to be a big disappointment and the staff not accommodating. The best part was only the location.

The only positives were the great host communication and convenient location.We booked for an 4-day vacation over the July 4th weekend during a heat wave and found the AC broken. Indoor temperatures reached 83F at 10 PM, remained in the 80s the next day, and hit 85F the following morning. The furnace filter was black with dust, air quality was poor, and the unit was hot and muggy.The issue was never resolved despite reassurance. Management offered another unit on day 3, but we had already booked another hotel just to escape the heat. Having to spend significant more and unexpected costs for lodging was unfortunate, we hope the property management will do right by their guests, refund us for the stay, and repair the cooling system before they host future guests.
