3 bedroom, 2 bath beach house in OBX, Kill Devil Hills, NC MP6.5

Three bedroom beach house in OBX. Nestled between the bypass and the sound in the centrally located town of Kill Devil Hills, NC. Our lovely, clean, smoke free, and pet free cottage provides a place to unplug and unwind. Avalon Fishing Pier is a 3 minute drive. Public beach access parking areas are within a 3 minute drive, as well. The neighborhood offers excellent biking and walking down to and along the sound. Our open plan living, dining, and kitchen area offer a great place to gather with friends and family, to eat, to watch movies and play games. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make a meal at home. The uncovered deck outside is great for lounging around and watching for meteors at night. The first bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has a full size bed. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and it's own bathroom with a standing shower. The hallway bathroom is a full bath and it has a tub. We also have an enclosed outdoor shower downstairs. The washer and dryer are located in the utility room downstairs. The utility room is large enough to keep bikes, surfboards, coolers, etc. The driveway will accommodate up to 3 vehicles.

Wash dishes that were used. Remove all personal food items from cabinets and refrigerator.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No Parties.
No parking on grassy/sandy areas.

This is The Rowe family beach cottage, "Rowe's Roost." My Grandparents Russell and Dorothy Rowe purchased the lot in 1979. My Father and Uncle built the house themselves from the ground up in 1980. It has been lovingly cared for and well maintained. My family has spent many days chillin' and beachin'. We hope y'all enjoy our humble little beach house as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

There were lots available at a reasonable cost in 1979. There was hardly anything in Kill Devil Hills then. My Grandmother stumbled on a good deal.
