EXCELLENT LOCATION! The Ocean Pearl is a classic OBX beach bungalow.
This vintage beach house in Kill Devil Hills was built in 1954 and is located across the street from the ocean and public beach access! It has been freshly updated and decorated with beachy decor throughout. Brand new leather sofa loveseat and chair January 2020!
From the beach themed artwork on the walls to the starfish knobs on the dresser and nightstand in master bedroom, this quaint ONE LEVEL , two bedroom and one bathroom home will welcome you the minute you step through the door. There are queen beds in both bedrooms.
if you have an extra child there is a twin size roll away bed available.
Sheets are provided but PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS AND PAPER PRODUCTS ETC.
All tile floors.
Streaming live TV , DVD player, and WiFi
CENTRAL A/C!! NO noisy window units.
Large bright sunroom with Washer and Dryer
DOG FRIENDLY with completely fenced back yard.
OUTDOOR ENCLOSED SHOWER with hot and cold water.

Across the street from popular beach access (with lifeguards) and Kill Devil Hills bath house. Safe pedestrian crosswalk with signal.
Walk to gourmet deli with a little of everything including excellent made to order sandwiches, a wide variety of beer, and souvenirs
Walk to Dairy Queen.
Short drive to famous Wright brothers monument, miniature golf , shopping, restaurants and easy access to all Outer Banks attractions.
Living room features leather sofa, loveseat, chair, ceiling fan, coffee table and end tables. 40 inch flat screen tv with cable and WIFi and DVD player.
Kitchen appliances , refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, coffeemaker ,toaster , blender ,all utensils, dishes,pans and all your kitchen needs
Master bedroom, one queen bed, dresser , nightstand and TV with cable, ceiling fan and closet with hangers.
Second bedroom also has a queen size bed with two dressers and nightstand, ceiling fan and closet , now with streaming TV.
Bathroom has shower with rain shower head and hand held sprayer with hand laid pebble floor .
Remember to pack your towels.
Outdoor shower is perfect for rinsing off after a dip in the ocean or for daily shower. Hot and cold water. Private and enclosed.

This house is PERFECT! It was amazingly clean. Great fenced in yard for the dogs. Beach access right across the street. The little store next to us was so convenient. They have everything! The owner was very easy to communicate with! Can’t wait stay here again.

Pawsitively Amazing!

Always look forward to our time at the Ocean Pearl! It’s the perfect spot for the pups with a fenced in yard for them to run and play or just sunbathe! The single story design allows my mother to easily get to everything in the house without having to go up and down stairs. Location is excellent— grab a snack and some sunscreen at Stop n shop before you cross the street for the beach!Communication is always excellent. We look forward to returning again next year!

Nice place to stay with our dogs

This is a nice little place to stay especially if you have your fur-babies along for the trip. The enclosed back porch was fantastic along with the fenced in yard. Property owners were very nice and pleasant to deal with.

So close to the beach

My family and I love the place! Stop n shop is right there, and the beach couldn’t be closer. We have a younger child so the guarded beach is welcome. We will be back!

Wonderful two weeks at the Pearl. Our go to spot for time at the Outer Banks. Great weather and pleasant weather. George and Buster just love going to the beach with us!!

Another great stay

We enjoyed another great week at the Ocean Pearl this year. The access to a fully fenced yard for my pups makes this a true gem! The house is the perfect size for us (2 adults and 2 pups). Add in the close Proximity to the beach with ramp access and it’s the perfect choice for us. We will see you again next summer.

Lovely little pink house

Second stay at the Ocean Pearl it was just as great as the 1st time. Sitting under the shade of the beautiful Mimosa tree after a day of shopping, or at the beach was a nice wind down. Mindy and Donny are wonderful hosts. Hopefully we can make it back to Kill Devils Hills next year and stay at the Ocean Pearl again.

Great little beach house just across the road from beach access!

Had wonderful week long stay here. The Stop 'n Shop next door was our go-to breakfast location. Fenced in back yard was awesome for our dogs, and the house was clean and well maintained. Do not hesitate to stay here if you're looking for a cozy house close to the beach! 10000% pet friendly!

Absolutely love this house! Always clean and inviting each year we've stayed! This was our 3rd visit. The location is perfect, so close to everything, especially for me, the beach!! Mindy and Donnie are wonderful hosts!

Loved the "PEARL"

Had a wonderful time staying at the PEARL. Great location, great proximity to the beach. Our dog loved the backyard. Super cute and comfortable! Loved having the market/deli right next door. Owners were wonderful to work with!

We really enjoyed staying here.The home was very clean and had plenty of room for us.Our little dog enjoyed the backyard very much.The location is very convenient to grab lunch from the market right behind the house or to go to the beach right across the street.If we ever come back to the Outer Banks we will definitely stay here.🙂

This place is a real gem!

Location is great for hanging on the beach or as a jumping off point for visiting other OBX sites. Super clean and well taken care of. We’ve stayed at many VRBO places and this one is a standout. AND, we were able to bring our furry friend on vacation with us. Win, win, win!

Another great stay at the Ocean Pearl

This is our second summer staying at the Ocean Pearl and we loved every minute. Our dog loved sunbathing in the backyard. I was recently laid off, and 6 blissful days in OBX was exactly what we needed. We had sunshine every day and love how centrally located the Ocean Pearl is. Always clean, always easy to communicate with the owners...we want to see if we can come back in the off season AND next summer too. The Ocean Pearl has a piece of our hearts for sure.

A great little cottage in the perfect spot.

Cottage is clean, well appointed and in a super location. The back yard is a huge asset. Neighbors were nice too. I live in this street for 7 years back in 2001-7. Still as nice as ever. The owners were super to deal with. The dogs allowed was a super wonderful thing. They both loved the the yard and walks on the beach. Definitely will stay again with these owners!

A gem of a beach house

We stayed with our three dogs and cannot say enough great things about the ocean pearl. The owners communicated with us and it was so nice to know they were so accessible. The back yard was the perfect size for three big dogs and nicely fenced in and private. The beaches are beautiful as is the water. There are some awesome places to eat but our absolute favorite was I Got Your Crabs. Fishing was incredible. We would absolutely recommend OBX for your vacation, and especially the ocean pearl for your vacation stay! You will not be disappointed!

Ocean Pearl beach house! Wonderful relaxing and convenient place to stay

We arrived the Monday after Florence went further south west and they had just opened up the island to visitors the day before. Surprisingly the weather was great and our stay was perfect. The bungalow is very comfortable and the fenced in back yard was perfect for our boxer. The house has all the amenities you need and a perfect location too everything. There were few people there so getting reservations or getting a seat at a restaurant was no problem. We want to thank Donnie and Mindy for being so flexible with us on our week just in case the storm did go further up the coast. They were great to work with and will definitely book with them next year.
