This property was AMAZING, and the host was beyond helpful and communicated quickly! If you have a large party going to NOLA, I couldn't recommend this beautiful home high enough!!!
Property was beautiful as pictured. Property manager was very responsive to our questions. Location is close to everything plenty of room to spread out.
Really enjoyed our long weekend at this property. The house is beautiful, super clean and even roomier than the images let on. We had small issues with a couple little things, but the host responded rapidly each time with a quick fix. The only knock is the proximity to the freeway, but you can't hear it from inside the house. Easy tradeoff for the centrality of this location. I look forward to being able to come back and occupy this house again.
The house is very close to a mission that provides food to the homeless so there were numerous homeless prowling right outside the property and asking for money. There was also what seemed to be a half way house behind the rental and very sketchy people would stand on the balcony and watch my daughter in the pool so she was not permitted outside without us. When we went into the gates parking lot we found a homeless encampment in the bushes inside the gated parking and there was no lock on the gate entering into the back yard patio so we had to find a way to lock it ourselves for safety reasons. Other than that the house was absolutely beautiful but the area was not for people that are easily scared.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m really glad to hear the home itself lived up to your expectations. It is an incredible property and one we’re proud to be able to share with our guests.
That said, I’m very sorry to hear that certain aspects of the surrounding area made you feel uncomfortable during your stay. We have operated on this block for years, and guest comfort and safety are always extremely important to us. The front rolling gate to the driveway is secured, which is why a second lock had not previously been added to the gate leading to the pool area. However, we understand your concern and will be looking into additional ways to make the entryways more secure.
We will also be inspecting the lot and patio areas between each guest stay to make sure everything remains properly secured and guest-ready. I’m sorry these concerns were part of your experience, and we appreciate you bringing them to our attention. Thank you again for your feedback and for choosing to stay with us!
