Love the outdoors? Lost River State Park (distance from house - 15 mins) Nearly 4,000 acres of dense forest and miles of hiking trails. Depending on recent rains, the river can be clear and slow moving or a little faster. It's great for a scenic stroll along the riverbanks or putting some water shoes on and dipping your toes in. It's a flourishing trout river and is great for fly-fishing.

Looking for good restaurants & shopping? Both Wardensville and Lost River are two small towns just a short drive from The Barn, and both have fantastic cafes, restaurants, and art shops.

In the summer, head over to Trout Pond (distance from house - 30 mins): You’ll find a small beach for swimming and fishing – perfect for families!
