About the host
Hosted by Karen Thomas
I'm a marketing professional, Francophile and pickleball coach from the Pacific Northwest. I've lived many other places including Paris and NYC. I love to travel, ski, play pickleball, and do all things water related. I enjoy meeting interesting people from around the world and sharing my home with fellow adventure seekers and independent spirits.
Why they chose this property
I have enjoyed living in the Ravenna neighborhood ever since I moved to Seattle 35 years ago because it's a charming residential neighborhood that is quiet and safe, close to many parks, nice to walk in, and also relatively close to downtown. It's also very easy to get to University of Washington, and with the nearby bus stops and light rail it's easy to use public transportation to get to the airport and points in between.
What makes this property unique
People are typically surprised and pleased by how large and spacious the apartment is, and I receive many compliments on the decor and appreciation for how well stocked the kitchen is. I provide many things that you won't find in other rentals, such as a crock pot, waffle maker, blender, mixer, and many other kitchen gadgets. People also enjoy hanging out in the backyard and enjoying the patio to relax and have meals.
