Great spot! The owners made the unit very homey and provided little things that really showed their thoughtfulness (like homemade granola that was delicious!).Also very conveniently located. Downtown and ferry stop is 15 minutes away. Drive carefully because it is a neighborhood.Piper is SUPER CUTE.

The studio was nice and location was nice, however, there were a few issues. We could not get the WiFi on the tv to connect but we did not want to bother them since it was almost 10:00 by then. Also, the coffeemaker did not work in the morning which was frustrating to have to go get. Also there was no shade on the door which was a bit weird and let a lot of light in. All these things were overlooked and was I was going to give a decent review, however upon after leaving and letting the host know about these things as a courtesy there was no response except an extra payment request for over occupancy. There was no mention of this three months ago when I was up front that there are six of us and I knew we could make it work. They could have said something about it then and not just a surprise payment request afterwards and no response at all about the other issues. Also they don’t abide by their own rules of after 10:00 being quiet time.

Response from VrboOwner on 9 July 2026
Thank you for your feedback, Kelly. I'm sorry to hear your stay didn't fully meet your expectations. To clarify a few points for future guests, our listing clearly states a maximum occupancy of four guests. Prior to booking, you asked whether that limit was firm, and I confirmed that it was, explaining that the studio is designed and equipped to sleep a maximum of four people. Your reservation was then made for four guests, but six guests ultimately stayed. After your stay, VRBO recommended that I submit a request for the additional occupancy fee, which is why you received the payment request. Regarding the TV and coffee maker, both were inspected immediately after your departure. The Apple TV, Wi-Fi connection, and Keurig were all functioning normally, and we were unable to reproduce either issue. We provide a welcome binder with instructions for both, and we're always happy to help troubleshoot if guests reach out during their stay. Thank you as well for the suggestion about adding a shade to the front door. Guest feedback helps us continue improving the space, and we appreciate constructive suggestions. Finally, I apologize if you felt your messages were not acknowledged as quickly as you expected. My priority after checkout was addressing the occupancy discrepancy, but I do appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. I wish you and your family all the best in your future travels.

This was an absolutely lovely place to stay. Everything was as promised, and Moore. We really appreciated. The thoughtful touches such as the homemade granola and breakfast in the fridge. There were plenty of towels, extra blankets, and a well stocked kitchen. The neighborhood and surrounding area couldn't be beat.

We have lived on Bainbridge Island since 2019 and feel lucky to call this beautiful place home. We love spending time outdoors, whether that means hiking in the woods or getting out on the water to fish, crab, or kayak. We both work at a local winery and truly enjoy welcoming visitors from all over the world. Bainbridge is a very special place, and we love sharing its charm with our guests.

Why they chose this property

We chose this neighborhood because it feels like the best of Bainbridge Island. It is family friendly, walkable to the ferry and downtown, and has beautiful sunlight that makes gardening a joy. The mature trees give the area a peaceful forest feel while still being close to everything.

What makes this property unique

Guests can enjoy their morning coffee while watching sailboats drift across the sound, which makes for a peaceful and memorable start to the day. We also provide a simple breakfast with hard-boiled eggs, juice, milk, yogurt, and gluten-free granola to help guests settle in and feel at home. It is a quiet, comfortable place that is perfect for a relaxing weekend away.
