Nelda went above and beyond to make our evening extra special, I couldn’t recommend this place more! Clean, cozy and quiet location with a lot of nature. So grateful that we found this place!

Very sweet place to stay! Our hostess was very friendly, and everything was in order - clean fresh sheets, lovely bathroom. We would stay here again when we are in the area. Very pretty "extra" lighting.

The property was as described. Very clean and the decor was excellent. As was committed on in other reviews there is only one small window making it a little stuffy. A fan or cross breeze would have been nice. I would recommend this cabin.

Nelda, is by far one of the most hospitable people out there. I have never met a more accommodating and generous host than her. I would highly recommend staying there to anyone in that area. The location is a stones throw away from the town without the noise. Truly a oasis in a desert. I would definitely stay there again.

The cabin was lovely and had a little kitchenette that wasn't mentioned in the ad and was a nice plus. The one big drawback was that the only window that could open was in the bathroom. None of the other lovely big windows was openable and so there was no ability to cool down the room with a cross flow of fresh evening air. We managed by leaving the door wide open for most of the night.

WOW, what a little gem of a place, it is just perfect. We wanted an escape from all of the noise and EMR of the city, and we slept soundly without the buzz of 5G. The stars blanketed a dark sky, unlike anything you'll see on the city. We were just down in the area for one night but so glad we stayed and got to experience this very clean and comfortable, little forest getaway. All the touches of comfort that Nelda provided were sweet, and she was always close nearby, so attentive to our every possible need or request, a true Hostess. We will hopefully be back again.

Nelda's little Cottage was just as described. Quaint, clean, and quite charming. Lovely property to explore. A little far from town, but it is a nice drive. 5 miles to Chehalis and Centralia. Both towns have a nice Old Town feel. The cottage can get a little stuffy in the afternoon and closing the barn type doors is highly suggested when temps are expected to be above 75. Most conveniences are supplied. A mini fridge would be nice though. We will be returning the next time through.

First let me say how warm and welcoming Nelda was. She came out to greet us, showed us around, and invited us to peruse her garden and to pick any berries we might find there. The cabin was cute and well appointed with bathroom items and coffee and tea for the morning. We were also left dried fruit and dark chocolate as niceties. That said, the rest left a lot to be desired. It had no mini fridge or microwave, no tv, no internet. It was warm while we were there and the cabin itself is on a parched piece of land with no trees to shade it. Fortunately it wasn’t too hot, but there was no A/C, no fan, and none of the bedroom windows opened. We went to town for dinner and hoped to return for a romantic evening. This wasn’t possible because Nelda and her grandchildren (who were exceedingly nice and well behaved) were playing croquet outside our door so there was no feeling of privacy. All in all, while there are definite positives, the negatives outweigh them so a repeat stay is not likely. I’m sorry Nelda - we lied you very much.

The location was in decent proximity to both Mount Rainier and Mount St. Helens. Nelda was very responsive, kind, friendly, and a wonderful host! We really enjoyed staying at her place!
