The space stays comfortable year-round with heating and air conditioning, including an extra mini-split A/C unit in the kitchen to stay cool while cooking in the summer months. It's an older home with old home quirks, but a charming Florida stay with some originals like terrazzo flooring. The home is near multiple beaches and Venice Island. A binder is available for host recommendations from restaurants to kayak launch/rentals along with full instructions for use of all appliances. There are electrical and water hookups for a camper in the backyard for an additional $50/ night. The property includes a screened lanai that stays shaded most of the day as well as a large patio with 4 Adirondack chairs and fire pit. The shed is available to store larger items like bicycles and a kayak rack is setup in the backyard. There is parking on the side of the house for a camper or boat and room for multiple cars in the driveway. The home is about 800sqft so 4 adults is about the maximum for a comfortable stay and seating. A small folding desk is available for remote workers along with fiber optic Wi-Fi. The home has small, 4-inch step ups into the front and back doors and only a small threshold to get into the shower making it ideal for those with disabilities.
