I will give a %100 refund up to on the day of your arrival if you are not COMPLETELY HAPPY! This is a heavenly, Spanish style home with permitted street parking and a private driveway that fits 2 cars. This home is inviting, warm, clean, comfortable, and calming. Guests can now experience comfy outdoor living in a bubble. Shoes off before entering! The simplicity, cleanliness, PRIME location sets this home apart from others. Front foyer has natural stone flooring and skylight on a raised ceiling. Feel free to play music with the piano, guitars, and percussion instruments at hand. The dining room divides the living room and kitchen. The kitchen is higher end with all the modern conveniences and granite counter tops. The cabinets are loaded with the essentials for coffee, tea and cooking. Laundry room is off the kitchen. The family/living room is super comfortable with cozy couches and a large screen TV . There is a gas fireplace and beautiful hardwood floors throughout. The hallway leads to two open, inviting, clean guest bedrooms with a queen sized bed in each room and plenty of closet space/hangers. SOFT, CLEAN linens, and blankets are included. The guest bath is fun...all natural with river rock, waterfall glass doors, rain shower.
In the middle of the house is the den/office with a flatscreen TV and French doors open onto an outdoor roofed cabana and outdoor office. A chaise lounger couch opens into a Queen bed in this room, creating additional sleep space if wanted. The Master bedroom has a king sized bed with a master bath that has a jacuzzi tub and shower. A larger deck with a double chaise opens off the Master bedroom. The home is eco friendly with both solar and thermal panels for the electric and pool.
In the very back is the swimming pool, perfect for laps, pool vollyball and major fun. It is positive-ionized, with slightly salty water. The pool ranges from 3-9 feet deep. This is a private pool and there is no lifeguard. The Water temperature is dependent on the weather. Summer months are warmer because the water circulates thru thermal panels during the day. I run the jacuzzi 3.5 hours at a time ... before 10 PM(this is a residential neighborhood and most people work during the day and sleep at night. ). I am easy going and flexible if you all can be quiet.

Multiple outdoor living, playing, relaxing, dining spaces in this home. The outdoor living room is sweet with a fire pit and a flowing artwork mural view surrounding the large pool area. Comfy, larger outdoor dining area with a BBQ is great for gathering.
Feel free to use the portable bluetooth speaker anywhere in the area.

Great place, great host

The house was clean and very comfortable for the whole family: accessorized kitchen, nice living area, great beds, pool. We all really enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood was safe, beautiful and great for outdoor walks. Deb was just excellent, great communicator and always available. We will definitely love to come back.

The owner was very nice, helpful and responsive. The house was comfortable and had a large pool out back that also had a hot tub. It was a good walking neighborhood and “Curb Your Enthusiasm” films 3 blocks down the street.

Lots of room and great location

We stayed here for a gymnastics trip. 3 moms and 3 daughters. The house was the perfect size for all of us. The location was good and Deb was so helpful with ideas of things to do and see and places to eat. It was too cold to swim in the pool, but the girls played in the hot tub while the moms sat around the fire table outside. It was a great stay.

Santa Monica Retreat

Staying at Deb’s beautiful home in Santa Monica absolutely made our vacation to California perfect. Walking distance to restaurants, close to the beach, and near LA but not in LA. A great neighborhood and the perfect place from which to explore Santa Monica, Venice Beach, etc. The house, the pool, and the backyard are wonderful. And Deb is the best! We loved our stay here. Deb made everything easy. She was our personal guide to the city. She even left us homegrown tomatoes on the porch. We were so surprised by the gigantic pool in the backyard. The pictures don't do it justice! The location was excellent for everything we wanted to see. We even felt so at home that we took in the local farmers market. What a great home away from home in a crazy, big city!

This house was the most beautiful home, pictures don’t do it justice. Our family had the best time, we felt at home and warm. Beautiful and Charming Home

We were lucky enough to rent this great house with a superb location while we attended events leading up to a family wedding. The owner, Deb was super responsive and awesome to work with and went out of her way to make us feel welcome as she shared her beautiful home with us. We had everything we needed for cooking meals- all kitchen utensils, cookware and appliances were new and updated. The beds and linen were comfortable and clean. TVs and WIFI worked great with a huge screen in the living room. We really couldn't have asked for better accommodations for our family. Deb, thank you for sharing your home with us- we hope to be back again soon!

Santa Monica Stay

The rental was a nice home in a well established neighborhood in Santa Monica. The owner has decorated inside the home over the years including beautiful plantings outside to make it feel warm and cozy. Everything we needed was there for us, including a pool, hot tub, and beach towels. This included paper towels, toilet paper, linens, coffee, puzzles, games, and nice large screen TV. We cooked most meals ourselves and ate outside on the patio off the kitchen. Stayed poolside most days and enjoyed our family time. There was a separate room with desk which was perfect space for me to be able to work remotely when needed. The owner was in constant communication with us via text and we did meet her on premises when we arrived. She is a nice person who cares about her customers and makes them feel welcome. Would rent again if in the area. Thanks Deb.

Best House/Vacation Ever!

We felt at home the moment we walked in the door to our beautiful home for the week. Truly, Deb was incredible! She has poured love into every detail in every room. Take time to notice the details! The enormous pool was a favorite for all of us. The kids jumped on the trampoline everyday. My daughter and I both took time during our days to read in the hammock in the incredible cabana. We also played cards in there during our evenings after a swim and making s'mores by the fire. My son played her beautiful piano daily. We did not turn the tv's on at all, however, they are big and the rooms they are in are very comfortable. I felt like I had know Deb my entire life. Deb was so accommodating in answering questions and helping us with suggestions on where to go and what to see. We were SO sad to leave. My review doesn't do justice to the feeling I have in my heart after staying here. We will DEFINITELY be back. A true find!

The only place to stay in sunny Santa Monica!

We were five brothers from Boston, in our late 50s to mid-60s, spending a sunny four-day June weekend celebrating the sixtieth birthday of our sixth, LA-based brother. We brought along a couple old family friends, so all told seven stayed in Deb’s house. We had a fabulous time. The location is great, the pool is large and inviting (plenty of towels provided), the neighborhood is friendly, and there’s lots of commerce within walking or short driving distance. The driveway easily fits two cars, and some on-street parking is available. We didn’t cook much, but the large, sunny kitchen had everything we would have needed if we had. We used the available bikes, which are adult size, sturdy but not fancy. (If you’re tall, you may need to adjust the seats.) The city is very bikeable. A few of us rode the two miles down to the beach and followed the beach bike path all the way to Venice. To us, the most confusing thing about the listing info was the exact configuration of beds and bedrooms. There are three bedrooms -- two with queens near the front of the one-story house, and a master suite with king at the rear. A den connecting the master suite to the front of the house has a pullout sofa that converts to a bed. The exits to the backyard and pool are in this den and in the master bedroom, so put someone who stays up late and gets up early in the den. The master bath is off a short hall that connects the master bedroom to the den, so it can be used by the folks who are in the other rooms. The other bath is in the front of the house, off a hall between the two queen bedrooms and the entrance. The two large “sleepable” sofas are in the living room at the very front of the house. They are comfortable, but it wasn’t easy to fit linens onto them. FWIW, the living room is also the big-screen TV room. The available twin air mattress was comfortable, and fairly easy to inflate – much easier than the manufacturer’s complicated instructions on the tag made it sound. Finding space to lay out the air mattress was tricky. We wound up putting it in the entrance foyer. Deb, the friendly and helpful property owner, lives in an outbuilding adjacent to the pool. She came and went during the weekend, but mostly left us to our own devices, which was fine with us. Planning such a trip with five voluble, opinionated brothers was a sometimes contentious process, but in the end we all agreed that we couldn’t have made a better choice of a house for our weekend HQ.

Birthday Celebration

To celebrate my sister's 70th birthday, I rented Debra's beautiful home for 5 nights. We were greeted with fresh flowers on the dining table & Deb even hung a Happy Birthday banner for my sister. She let my niece borrow one of her bikes & rode with her to the local farmer's market. The pool, spa, fire pit & multiple outdoor seating areas were lovely. Deb is a wonderful host. Santa Monica Treasure!

We chose to rent this home in Santa Monica, CA because we had previously lived in Santa Monica and knew that the location was perfect for exploring the Westside and the beach communities. We especially wanted to be close to our old haunts: 3rd Street Promenade, the Pier, Montana Avenue, Pacific Coast Highway and Malibu and the iconoclastic Venice Beach. This home is in a perfect location to explore these areas as well as providing a great jumping off place for the rest of Los Angeles. An unexpected highlight on this trip was seeing the Rose Parade floats on January 2nd in Pasadena (35-minute drive). Our host and the owner of the property was tremendous! From before we left home to after we returned home, she was full of helpful information which she provided promptly. She made planning easy and had thought of pretty much everything. She was both immediately available while fully mindful of our privacy. Things that we also especially appreciated included her suggestions for things to do such as farmers’ markets, restaurants for eat in or take out; her immediately addressing our questions and issues (like where are the spare batteries); her encouraging us to take full advantage of the magnificent fruits and vegetables in her gardens (delicious); and her encouragement to enjoy both the house and the area. The property itself is clean, well kept and cozy. The outdoor areas are beautiful both day and night. The kitchen is well stocked, and the Nespresso machine makes having that first cup of coffee a breeze and a pleasure. In case it rains (it did for us in Dec/Jan but rare other times of the year), there is a piano and other small musical instruments, movies and games. The house is filled with interesting paintings and other furnishings. Outdoors, in addition to the large pool, there is a hot tub (we were going to skip as we had cool weather) but we were glad that we didn’t – very relaxing! We also tried out the ‘fire-pit’. The fireplace in the living room provides a great atmosphere for winding down and the huge TV is fully connected for streaming. In summary, this is a very comfortable home in a great location and we hope we can return soon!

Great Santa Monica getaway

Santa Monica Hideaway

We were here for 5 days for a family wedding/. House sleeps up to 3 couples comfortably, but accommodations for more than that are mot sufficient. Office has pull-out bed couldn't easily be used as a bedroom, since patio doors had no shades or curtains. It was a good office to work in,. Shower curtain and shower head were in a Jacuzzi tub, so difficult to get in and out of. Curtain rod and shower head were very low, even for short people. Water pressure very strong. We used fireplace in living room extensively due to cold weather. House extremely well stocked with towels, sheets, dishes, utensils, etc. Pool and hot tub are wonderful, but weather was too cold for swimming. Gardens, patio, and grounds are magnificent and well kept...many nooks and sitting areas to enjoy.. Neighborhood is beautiful and very conducive to walking. Many services and amenities close by, especially for those who prefer walking. Deb is a wonderful hostess, who is available close by when you need her. All in all a great rental experience at a fair price!

Fantastic vacation home

My family and I loved this property. Deb, the Owner, is not only a great host but she helps in any way possible. We have rented in the past but none of the places where even close to what we had at Debs house. Perfect location for teenagers and small children. Neighborhood is very safe which was great to let the kids roam on their own. Pool, jacuzzi, fire pit, grill, etc. Everything you could possibly want or need. Thank you to Deb for allowing us to rent her house and have a great vacation. We will definitely come back!

This home has 3 private bedrooms and a den/office that has a chaise lounge that will convert to another queen sized bed. 2 full bathrooms, one with an all natural rock, rain shower, and the master with a jacuzzi tub/shower.
There is separate, private fully equipped poolhouse adjacent the pool. I usually stay there when I am in town.

Pool area, and back yard, private patio w/ comfy patio furniture, hand crafted fire pit and gas BBQ, and an oudoor dining area, all for your personal private use. It's nicer than a cabana at the RITZ!!! It's a a slice of heaven for relaxing, playing and gathering with family/friends/colleagues. Enjoy the ocean breeze, ride some bikes/scooters, soak up sun, listen to music, play in the pool and get toasty in the jacuzzi.
The pool is outdoor and utilizes ionized water and is also solar heated. The jacuzzi is simply delicious and a must in the winter.
The property is just south of the infamous Montana Ave and Wilshire Blvd. Super close to close to Erewhon, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, and Bristol Farms grocery, Local farmer's markets, unique boutiques, yummy restaurants, libraries, the Ocean, and the city of Brentwood/UCLA. Incredible 5 star restaurants such as Milo and Olive and Takuma,
- Bike ride or walk to Brentwood farmer's market, Brentwood Country Mart, or the Santa Monica 3'rd Street Promenade, beach and ocean. Main street is close, funky and fun!
