About this property

Great Downtown Location And House

This is a completely remodeled 1920's Bungalow. The house has an old charm with modern touches. The house is surrounded by Drake Park, Deschutes River, Downtown, and Old Mill District.

One bedroom has a king size bed and the other has a queen size bed. The beds are new with memory foam mattresses. Each bed has an electric mattress warmer for the cold Bend nights. The new sofa also has a comfortable double bed pullout.

The living area has a comfortable seating area with a HD TV. There is also wireless internet service. The home has a central heating unit and a gas fireplace.

The kitchen has a gas stove, oven, microwave, automatic dishwasher, disposal, and built in ice maker. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare and serve a complete meal. There is a breakfast bar area for two and a dinning table that seats six.

The new bathroom has two pocket doors to provide a private shower and toilet area. The bathroom has a heated tile floor and a heated towel rack. The private shower area is very tall with a built in shower head and a hand held shower.

Outside the new sidewalk welcomes you to a covered porch. The side and back yard are fenced and has a stone patio. There is off street parking for at least two cars.

This home is ideally located in Old Bend - walkable to the river, restaurants, shops, etc.It's clear that the hosts care about the property. It's an older home that has been updated throughout with quality finishes and furniture. The interior is spotless. The exterior is beautifully maintained.We stayed four nights with our two dogs. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Highly recommend.

the house was super clean and had everything in the kitchen you would ever need. the beds were very comfortable and the decor was really cool. There were no complaints about the house at all. we had a great stay floating the river, bike riding all over and and hitting many restaurants & bars nearby. Nice easy walk to Drake Park and the downtown area.

The parking in the driveway is a bit narrow. If you’re driving a truck be prepared. I couldn’t pull all the way into driveway and be able to open doors all the way. There is street parking. Unfortunately it was taken in front of the house.

Our family of four enjoyed our stay and loved how close the home is to downtown and the Deschutes River Trail that runs along Drake Park and the Old Mill District. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking and the outdoor yard was spacious. Last, we appreciated the great communication with the hosts.

The house had everything we could possibly need. It was a comfortable spot for a long stay and the internet was stable and fast for our remote work. I can’t say enough good things about the location of the house. It’s perfectly situated between the Old Mill district and downtown making it so easy to walk to shops, grocery stores, and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again!

Everything about our stay at the Bend Bungalow was 5 stars! The home was well stocked, in a GREAT location and very comfortable. The fenced yard was perfect for our dog. Communication from the hosts was timely and helpful. Tami was kind to let us know the cleaning team finished up early, allowing us to check in before the stated time. Our family visits Bend regularly and we look forward to staying in the Bend Bungalow again!

This place was perfect for a girls getaway weekend. The location was great, and the house was clean and comfortable. We were going to a show at the Tower Theater, so we loved to see the framed picture in the kitchen. We would definitely stay here again!

Why they chose this property

We have been coming to the Bend area for years and decided we wanted to retire here someday. We wanted to be able to walk to all the areas that surround our house. We love walking to downtown, Drake Park and the River trail.

What makes this property unique

We have enjoyed making this house our home and look forward to retiring in Bend and being able to enjoy all that Bend has to offer. This particular location is so nice because we are 3 to 4 blocks from Downtown, Drake Park, Columbia Park, Old Mill Shopping and Theater the River Trail, the bus pick up to Mt. Bachelor and Galveston restaurants like the Lot.
