The "Lair" Gear Station: Designated areas for your helmets, jackets, and boots.
Tech & Connectivity: Fast, reliable Starlink Wi-Fi. Connect your "glowing rectangles" and stream your GoPro footage from the day’s ride without a hitch.
The Cabin Experience
Rest: Three large, private bedrooms, each featuring a plush queen-sized bed to ensure you’re fresh for the next morning’s first run.
Fuel: A fully equipped kitchen for a post-ride victory feast and a Blackstone flattop grill on the porch for those who prefer al fresco culinary experiments.
Relax: Kick back on the large front porch and listen to the year-round babbling creek in the front field. It’s the perfect soundtrack for swapping ride stories.
The Backyard: A private yard— Perfect for relaxing after a day full of Driving or Riding. -* Note*- The Fence in the pictures of the upper back yard has been removed. New Pics coming soon.
The Location
You are perfectly positioned at the quiet southern bookend of the Dragon.
3 Miles to the start of the Tail of the Dragon / Deals Gap.
1/2 Mile to the historic Tapoco Lodge and the iconic Cheoah Dam (yes, the one from The Fugitive).
10-15 Minutes to downtown Robbinsville for groceries, gas, supplies and The Cherahala Skyway.
Note: We value "mutual non-annoyance." We’re hands-off hosts who respect your privacy. Expect an authentic mountain experience—starry skies, the sound of the creek, and the welcoming bark from a neighbor's dog. You may also encounter Local Wildlife(Bears, Racoons and Birds) or Insects(Lady bugs, Stink bugs, Mosquitos, Ants or Gnats).
This is not a Tourist Community, it is a Rural Mountain Community and therefore encounters with Hunters and their dogs are likely depending on the season.
This area is also subject to Rural Mountain Area Power Infrastructure, Therefore some storms may knock the power out.
