We had an incredible stay! This cabin is really private and serene. We loved sitting on the porch and enjoying the silence and stillness of the mountain air. We spent most of our time outside, in the rocking chairs on the porch or in the hot tub. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and simple. Very clean and family-friendly. Yes, the road is decently steep getting up to the cabin, but didn't require 4WD and the steep driveway up is a great reminder of how secluded and set apart it is. Host was great to work with. Would definitely consider staying here again!

Everything was excellent. The pictures were accurate with the exception that they could not do the view justice. It's spectacular! The home was clean, spacious, and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and shower water pressure was good. Communication was great. We had one small problem that arose and host's response was immediate. All was taken care of. Additionally, we really appreciated the proximity to Bryson City. Last year we rented a different home and the drive into town was much longer. Despite the proximity, no other homes were in view from the property. We also appreciated the small signs directing us to the home, especially since near the end google maps advised us to stay left when the driveway was too the right. A few things to note. I don't think these are issues but do be aware. The driveway is steep including a gravel section. We had no issues. Also, there is a check in process where you have to provide a selfie photo, ID, and agree to a reserve on your credit card as a security deposit against potential damage. I admit to being a bit leery of this at first. But it all went smoothly and the reserve was quickly released. If we're back in the area I'd DEFINITELY want to rent this home again.
