Great Experience. Next time we are in town, we plan on renting this property again. My wife loved the property and everything about it - especially how clean it is. I though parking was going to be a hassle, however the rental provides a parking pass for the parking garage around the corner from the rental. Rental is in a great area on main street. Close to restaurants, cafes etc. and all you have to do is walk out your door on Saturday morning and just blend in crowd for the street festival that is from 8am-2pm. The bedrooms are on the opposite side of the rental so you do not hear much of the noise from the street. Would advise taking alternate transportation if you need to. Parking anywhere in Columbia is pretty tough. A lot of the places you can walk. Again, great place to stay and it has my wife's approval. Out of all of the places we have stayed at, she would only go back to 2 of them and this one is on the top of the list.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Communication
Future guests may want to be aware that communication with this host may not meet expectations for professionalism.I followed the checkout instructions and left the property in good condition. Before leaving, I wiped the countertops, emptied the refrigerator, placed used mugs in the dishwasher, left used towels on the floor as instructed, and confirmed the auto-locking door was closed and secure behind me.After departure, the host contacted me with concerns that I had gone through personal items, left the door unlocked, and failed to return the parking pass. The item referenced was an extra soap taken from an unlocked utility closet after only one small hotel-size shampoo and body wash had been provided for a four-night stay. The parking pass was returned to the same place it was found, inside the checkout book.In the follow-up communication, the host stated in a forceful manner that I would not be welcome back, citing the soap and the belief that the door had been left unlocked.Outside of this issue, the space itself was nice. There was noticeable outside noise that carried on throughout the night, which is understandable for a downtown, ground-level location. While the property itself met expectations, the post-checkout communication was disappointing and affected the overall experience.

Chris, we are disappointed to even have to respond to the lies. We don’t recommend you. And you are not welcome back. It’s disheartening.
