Great house with very quiet neighborhood. The house was clean and ready, check-in and check-out was easy. Would consider staying there again.

We enjoyed this spot for my husband's 28th birthday celebration! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed (utensils, bowls, pans, etc.) and was very clean upon arrival. The fridge was very roomy, and there was plenty of counter space for us to enjoy as well. Additionally, the living room space and the basement were perfect for our activities. To top it off, the record player was a great addition that we all enjoyed! The location was great as well, and was very close to the lake! Less than a 10 minute drive to Lake Lure Adventure Co. and Legends on the Lake.The only two downsides were that there were that the bedrooms, bathrooms, and outdoor patios both had quite a few cobwebs and some dust. I understand that this is expected to an extent when staying in a woodland property, but it was something of note. The second, is that the loft bedroom with the twin beds was very hot. The AC does not reach there and while there was a large fan provided unfortunately the guests assigned to that room ended up sleeping on the couch due to the heat.However, Alyssa and JP were wonderful hosts, and we really enjoyed our stay!
