About this property

The Wild Yard Home

This is a cozy, peaceful and centrally-located place. Rustic hand finished walnut headboards, live plants, and sun drenched afternoons will settle your soul! Enjoy sitting on the sunporch or taking a nap there on the couch. Walk or bike the neighborhood, to the beach or into Portland! Feel free to grab an egg from the chicken coop or pick berries from the vines. You’ll feel like you’ve escaped into a tree fort-type hideaway.

The space
The charming apartment has its own private entrance. From the front sun porch enter the cozy kitchen/living area. Then take a flight of stairs to the bedroom with attached bath.

This is great launch spot for both city and country adventures. Walk to the beach, or bike/drive/Uber into Portland.

The living space is cute and magical but you'll have access to the three season sun porch to spread out into. The kitchen is small but well equipped and if there's anything you find lacking just let me know and I'll be happy to assist you.

Guest access
A unique key code will be sent to you prior to your arrival along with parking instructions. Enter the home through the front porch. Your door will be the one on the left!

Other things to note
There are all sorts of cool places to see and things to do around the area. I'd love to help you plot your course. Feel free to reach out for ideas on how to make your visit a success!
Also, I know all the running, biking, and hiking trails nearby. So if you want suggestions please ask.

Also the stairs to the upstairs are a little steep and although there is a small table and stools in the kitchenette that can serve as a work-station, there isn’t a proper desk.

Finally, there isn’t a TV so you’ll need to get out there and immerse yourself in all the wonderful things that the area has to offer (or use your laptop)!

If you’d like to use the sauna just let me know and we can schedule a time so it will be ready for you! I recommend an ocean dip followed by a warm sauna to get you completely relaxed!
