The Space:

This lovely two bedroom, two bathrooms, condo on the first floor offers a picturesque beach and Gulf view with a convenient stairway from the balcony to the beach boardwalk. The kitchen is fully equipped and has nice wood cabinets, full-size appliances, full housewares, tiled floors, and full-size washer and dryer in a separate laundry closet. The primary bedroom offers a majestic four-poster king bed, cozy bedding, a TV, and a DVD player. The guest bedroom has two twin beds, a TV, and a DVD player. The living area has a great casual nautical feel with red, white and blue colors, a comfortable red sofa, a matching loveseat, a West Indies style loveseat, and a chair with ottoman. There is a dining table for six, an outdoor wicker patio set, as well as two bar stools for more casual seating at the bar.

Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.

All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

I had much higher expectations for this unit, but my stay was disappointing. The listing stated there were "no hidden fees," yet I was informed the day before check-in that I needed to pay an additional parking fee that was never disclosed. Upon arrival, the unit lacked basic essentials, including extra towels, beach towels, and adequate cleaning supplies. The floors were sandy, and the most concerning issue was the bed—there was so much sand under the sheets that I purchased my own bedding to sleep comfortably. The listing also advertised included beach service, but I later learned it was first-come, first-served. As a result, I was unable to use the chairs one day because none were available. The shower drained poorly, leaving me standing in inches of water, and the walls and ceilings were so thin that noise from neighboring units was constant. I even purchased a fan to help mask it. The location is great, but between the undisclosed fee, cleanliness concerns, missing amenities, maintenance issues, and extra expenses, I should have not paid for all of this extras. I am not trying to be negative, people just need to know what they pay for.
