The Space:

This beautiful ground floor unit has a wonderful view of Waterscape's tropical garden and oasis. The primary bedroom and living room open up to a large patio with outdoor seating. The condo's kitchen is well appointed with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and beautifully tiled floors. All dishes, cooking utensils, and bake ware are provided to complete and serve meals. This lovely home offers a twin bunk area, full bath with a stand-up shower, and a washer/dryer off of the kitchen. The open living room houses a queen sofa bed, TV, and DVD player. The primary bedroom features a king bed, private bath with stand up shower and garden tub, TV, DVD player, and walk-in closet. This condo offers wider door frames, shower bars, pedestal sinks, and lower countertops.



Things to Know

Beach service is included from March to October.





All registered guests staying at Waterscape will be required to wear the

RFID wristbands provided. These wristbands are mandatory

for access to all Waterscape amenities.

Please note:

● Wristbands must be worn at all times when using the amenities.

● Guests without wristbands will not be permitted access.

● Wristbands are provided only for the number of registered guests

and cannot exceed the unit’s maximum occupancy, all occupants

count toward max occupancy regardless of age

● Guests must provide the exact number of occupants in order to

receive the correct amount of wristbands for their stay

● A $50 non-refundable fee per wristband will be charged if any are

lost or not returned at checkout.

● Children 5 and under are not required to wear the wristbands

● Wristbands are not required for beach access

The property was beautiful. We were there for a funeral and the location was convenient to the funeral home and my aunts home. The problem we ran into was after the funeral were tired, so returning to our condo, I made the mistake of stopping at the wrong room. I put in the code to our condo, it opened the door . We walked in to a space that wasn’t ours and to a family we did not know. This is not okay, when rooms next to each other share the same door code.

Perfect little getaway spot for the family

This is our second year coming to the waterscape property to stay for my little ones soccer tournament . Our entire team stays at this location. This was our favorite condo so far . Best location for the kids since you are on the ground floor and can just open up the glass doors and see the pool just a few steps away . Everything was nice and clean . We will def come again nexr year and try to get the same unit

Perfect spot for kids!

My family had a great time and loved this property. I have a 6 year old and a 3 year old and this location was the perfect spot because it is so close to the splash park. They had a blast!

Great family location especially if you have littles!

Directly across from the splash pad, perfect for new moms and dads. Great for retirees too! Close walk to the parking garage and the adult pool. Great condo, just the right size for 4. Wish there was patio furniture to enjoy a meal or relax with a book and a glass of wine.

My husband and I drove into town for our anniversary and needless to say this property was wonderful. It was right off of the pool/lazy River. Walking distance to local shops and restaurants. This property was also very clean. Will definitely be returning in the future!

Great place to stay!

We were pleasantly surprised with how great this place was and will definitely be back! The location on the main floor by the pools was very convenient and we were able to grill out poolside every night we were there. The condo was very clean and well stocked although not very many kid friendly plates and cutlery and no staples like salt and pepper. We ended up buying our own trash bags, laundry detergent, etc. which is not a huge deal. Check in was super easy and the resort was very clean and well maintained. A++

Worse than expected.

We stayed with our family for a week for a child’s sporting event. The property grounds were extremely dirty and this unit was barely clean. Floors and walls are filthy. The couch smelled so terrible we called the front office. They were able to spray something to subdue the smell which helped somewhat. Thankfully we were only in the room at night. The room is not stocked with much basic: two rolls of toilet paper(no extra), 1 single use packet of dish detergent, 1 roll paper towels and 1 garbage bag…be ready to stock up on all the basic needs. The pool was crowded and the restaurant on-site ran out of food most days before dinner. Beach is amazing thankfully. If we come back, we would find another property closer to Destin.

Broken dryer entire stay

Dryer didn’t work the entire stay. Washer barely worked. Called over and over, all different numbers and people, everyone had a different story, no one helped. No one would connect me to a supervisor. Entire week with zero clean towels, three teenagers two adults. Entire reason we booked a condo, to be able to do LAUNDRY. Not enough linens or blankets. Zero beach towels. Two rolls of TP, one roll of paper towels, little soap, no shampoo, etc. For 5 days/nights. Very poor communication. Iowa to Florida, very rare trip, spent 3/4 of it on the phone regarding broken dryer. No one listened, no one did anything to help us. Resort was WAY overcrowded. A very very big disappointment. No one cared at VRBO or VACASA Waterscape Resort to help us in the least. Just plain WRONG.

Death by a thousand cuts

This was our first stay at Waterscape, after staying many years at Destin West. We were attracted to the property mainly because of the numerous pools and water attractions that we thought our kids would enjoy. And they did enjoy the pools, splash pad, and lazy river - no doubt about that. However, my wife and I were disappointed overall in our experience and plan to look elsewhere for our next trip. The little things add up... * Upon arrival, we quickly noticed that our clothes dryer was broken. Inconvenient, yes, but the hotel staff was super helpful and washed/dried/folded several loads of laundry for us. * Beach chair/umbrella Thunderdome. What they tell you: the unit comes with a set of beach chairs and umbrella. What they don't tell you: you have to get yourself out of bed and down to the beach (EVERY MORNING) before the beach attendants begin putting out the chairs and umbrellas, keeping a close eye out for the beach-dude-in-chief to begin drilling holes in the sand for the umbrellas in a gigantic horseshoe shape, resulting in a total of 4 sets of chairs actually at the waters edge. Then you have to throw your towel or some other belonging down close to the hole to claim your spot before someone else does...and watch out because even if you're standing right next to the dude when he drills the hole, someone else might swoop in and throw their towel down first. GOOD LUCK! * Minor, but annoying complaints about the unit: the back doors don't lock and are only secured with a wooden pole; there is virtual zero counter space in the bathrooms; the range eyes need some help; the range top light switch is dangling/broken; the dishwasher will not open fully because the warming drawer on the stove appears to be broken/not shut fully * Even though the unit appears to be on ground level, it's actually on the 2nd floor. If you have a beach wagon or anything else that isn't compatible with stairs, you have to either go down the hallway and fight for an elevator (or, the ONE working elevator in our building), or lug that sucker down the stairs near the pool (I don't recommend it) * The hotel is basically right across the street from the fire department - so if you love the sound of sirens going off every half hour, you're in luck! All that being said, we still had fun and enjoyed our trip - we just expected more based on what we paid.
