Enjoy the best of both convenience and tranquility—walk to the beach or take advantage of free parking at the end of Mile Road for easy access to the sand and surf. Just a half-mile away (a quick 3-minute drive), Wells Plaza offers everything you need for a carefree stay, including Hannaford grocery store, Reny’s, Dollar Tree, Bank of America, Flagship Cinemas, CVS, and plenty of local dining options.

Whether you’re here for long beach days, fresh seafood dinners, or quiet evenings by the coast, Barefoot Cottages is the ideal home base for a relaxing and memorable Maine vacation.

Built in 2012 and used previously as a summer vacation home for a family from New York City, unit #113 at Barefoot is in like-new condition. Freshly painted and has wood floors in all rooms except tile in the kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. High ceilings and lots of windows create a light, spacious feeling.

Everything was just as described. Hosts were easy to communicate with when booking. Very clean and well appointed with everything we needed including big fluffy towels, sheets, tp, soap, beach chairs and beach towels. Second bedroom was perfect for three kids with privacy wall between the twin and bunkbed. We will definitely stay again!

If you love Wells as much as I do, or if you are new to the area, this is a great space and perfect location for your vacation in Wells. As a local, I'm available anytime you may need me during your stay.

The property has an amazing salt-filtered pool and a clubhouse with a gym. If you are looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay while exploring everything that the southern Maine coast offers, this is the place to rent.
