I’m from Detroit Lakes and have always been drawn to the calm, restorative rhythm of lake living. I spend my free time paddleboarding, swimming, relaxing on the boathouse, and staying grounded with classes at 180 Balance Yoga Studio. Being a host gives me the chance to welcome others into that same peaceful, sun‑soaked experience and help them create their own memories on the water.

Belle of Bijou is all about that “living on the lake” feeling. You can see the water from almost every room, and the boathouse deck puts you so close you’ll swear you’re sitting on the lake itself. The bay stays peaceful and still, which means you get front‑row seats to the most dramatic, fiery sunsets you’ll ever see.
