About the host
Hosted by David Simpson
Outside of selling real estate in Michigan, I’m happiest outdoors and on the water. I love spending free days golfing, sneaking away to go fishing, or taking the boat out and unplugging from everything for a while. Most of all, I enjoy slowing down and making memories with my family—whether that’s a sunny day on the lake, a weekend getaway, or just hanging out together at home.
Why they chose this property
We have been coming to Eagles Nest for over 12 years now and love the family atmosphere that it provides. To be able to bring your kids here since they were 5 and feel safe to now grown adults and they still love to tag along. We hope you feel the same way and get a chance to create some great memories like we did in the years past.
With true beachfront, walkability, and a relaxed, family‑friendly resort feel instead of a generic high‑rise strip.
You can walk straight onto the wide, soft‑sand beach and watch Gulf sunsets daily, which is a big lifestyle driver for Marco Island’s beachfront corridor.
It’s “lock‑and‑leave” condo living with amenities (pool, hot tubs, tennis, kids’ activities) and no exterior maintenance for you to worry about.
Restaurants, shops, and nearby resorts are all within an easy stroll, so you get a vacation vibe without needing to drive everywhere.
The area is known as safe, quiet, and very family‑oriented, which fits personal enjoyment

What makes this property unique
Eagle’s Nest on Marco Island stands out for its true beachfront location, Mediterranean-style vibe, and very strong family‑friendly amenities compared with other local resorts.
Location and Beachfront Setting
Directly on Marco Island’s famous crescent‑shaped beach with quick boardwalk access, not “across the street” or partial view.
Every unit has a Gulf view, with sunsets and long shelling walks being a consistent highlight.
Walking distance to multiple restaurants, shopping, a movie theater, and next‑door access to the lively Marriott scene if you want more action.
Resort Style and Atmosphere
Distinctive Mediterranean architecture: clay‑tiled roofs, courtyard garden, fountain, and lush tropical landscaping give it more character than a typical high‑rise.
Rated as an RCI Gold Crown resort and often described by guests as one of the nicest or top resorts on Marco Island, with a quiet, upscale but relaxed feel.
Amenities and Activities
Large heated pool with two shallow ends, flanked by two whirlpool spas, plus a good‑size pool deck and poolside bar/food hut with lunch specials and happy hour.
Lighted tennis and pickleball courts, racquetball court, shuffleboard, fitness center, sauna, arcade/game room, and organized activities like aqua aerobics.
