Come experience our slice of Montana heaven!! Soak in the incredible mountain and valley view from every room. This Montana experience will have you never wanting to leave! Our cozy guest cabin (KM Ranch Hideaway) sits on 5 acres of land, backed up to 7,000 acres of state land with outstanding outdoor opportunities. Including; hiking, biking, bird watching and horseback riding. Seasonal fire pit. Pet friendly! Ask about FREE pony/horse rides for kids.

Option to bring your own horses! Paddock and hay available for $15/day/horse. Amazing trail access from cabin.

Say hi to horses over the fence. Ask about feeding treats to horses and horse rides for kids.
Fire pit is available seasonally depending on forest fire danger

End of the road. Perfect hideaway location set back off the main road in the woods, on the top of a hill, yet close to everything. Direct trail access out the back door to 7,000 acres of state land with developed trails and logging roads to Spencer lake.

Take a scenic 10 minute drive into downtown Whitefish and enjoy all Whitefish has to offer.

10 minutes outside Whitefish gives you the perfect location to get away to the woods, yet close enough to visit and enjoy the local restaurants and shops.
Every 4th of July there is a professional, OUTSTANDING firework display viewable from the cabin. Better than the Whitefish Lake show and you do not have to leave the cabin!

Guest cabin: Located adjacent our family home. Our 2 small children, dog and horses are present on the property. Request renters drive very slowly on driveway

Great cabin!

Everything we needed was there, this was our second time, will definitely be back. We come down to mountain bike, so many trails close by, the perfect spot as a base for day trips. Comfortable, quiet, great view of the valley.

Beatiful Cabin outside Whitefish

Situated on beautiful ridge overlooking valley with trail right behind the cabin. Very quiet and peaceful and close to many hiking trail. There was mixup upon our arrival that was remedied quickly by our host.

The cabin was clean, quiet and spacious. The location is close to lots of things and activities to keep you busy. We grilled outside which was very nice. We saw wild turkeys and deers in the mornings. The views out the cabin views are beautiful. We even saw a black bear and a grizzly at GNP! I would return to this rental and recommend to friends.

This was the perfect getaway for our NW Montana getaway! We enjoyed coming back each night for peace and relaxation after exploring Whitefish and Glacier. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable. A plus was the washer/dryer as we continued on to Washington for another week. We enjoyed being out of town and watching the sunsets while having a local brew from the deck. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and definately would stay there again. Thanks Kerris!!!

Beautiful cabin, great location, awesome hospitality

My husband, dog, and I stayed for 4 nights and had an amazing time. A few things - the cabin is perched on a hill in the woods far enough from Whitefish (5-10 mins away) to appreciate the peace and quiet of the wilderness, but still close enough to buy any forgotten provisions, dine, or shop the little boutiques. It is close to many of Whitefish's trailheads, conveniently centered between the Tally Lake District and Glacier View District. We easily visited GNP and the Jewel Basin with little travel time from the cabin. The cabin itself was amazing. Fully equipped and furnished - cozy with a lot of nice personal touches throughout. Kerris provided a binder stocked with nearby dining options and their menus, activity guides, maps, and general information about the cabin. The bed was super comfortable, the patio was lovely to eat al fresco and enjoy the view from above. Being dog friendly is a perk too! It has all amenities you would ever need. WiFi, TV (for those rainy days/nights), and washer/dryer (nice to not have to do laundry first thing back from vacation.) We've booked through VRBO before and this is the BEST place we've stayed. We couldn't have asked for more. Cabin was wonderful, it sits in a prime location, and Kerris is a wonderful, welcoming hostess. I highly recommend it to those seeking a private, romantic, adventure filled getaway.

Beautiful little cabin in a peaceful spot

Very cute, remodeled cabin, comfortably sleeps 4. Only 5 minutes outside Whitefish, but very peaceful. Kerris is a great hostess, and let us look at the property before check-in (since we had to find it in the dark after a music festival). Charming and private, it was everything we needed!

Perfect little cabin in the woods

Clean, well-stocked, great communication with the owners. Close to Whitefish, but just far enough away to hear the silence that surrounds you. Morning coffee time usually involved a deer sighting or two and always involved beautiful views. Would definitely stay here again!

I was pleased to see this listing allowed pets, but in reality you are sharing the yard with the owners dogs and they do not pick up after their dogs. We wanted to use the sofa bed but when we removed the sofa cushions there were crumbs underneath so obviously had not been vacuumed.

Nice little place. If you are looking for quiet this is the place. The owners live there but we hardly saw them and when we did we had a great visit. Saw deer on most trips to town. The cabin is perfect for two and the only problem is it could use some updating with a better couch and better pillows and maybe more things in the kitchen. Overall it was a good stay.

GREAT PLACE!

This cabin was a great find! Out of town and peaceful, we watched the moon set every night. Great view, bright, airy with a great cheerful vibe. Slept like a baby on the very comfortable bed. The couch was even perfect for sleeping. The host was super nice and accommodating. I really can't say enough about this place. We really, really enjoyed our stay.

Montana getaway

Cabin was cute, clean and had a beautiful view! Listing said it was secluded, which it was only 10 steps away from owners large house. Much closer to house than pictures suggest. However, the owners were respectful and friendly and left us alone. Still the hammock was basically in their yard so we didn’t use it. That would be my only complaint. Still the cabin was adorable and comfortable and clean.

Mountain Getaway

We enjoyed our stay--good location, safe environment, quiet, comfortable bed, and clean. Our only issues were with the bedroom window and how the pull down shade still lets in a lot of light, which makes it difficult to go to sleep (in June) and sleep in. We averaged about 6 hours of sleep per night, but the bed was very comfortable. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to consider bringing an eye mask. Also, we did not bring bear spray because the listing said that it was provided. After not being able to locate it in the rental (and seeing a bear on our hike in Glacier on our first day), I contacted the owner. She got back to me that day and said that the previous renters must have taken it. So we ended up going down to Walmart and bought a can for $30 just to be safe.

We really enjoyed our time at this location. Quiet and clean. Other than breakfast, we did not cook during our stay. There is not a dishwasher. Only a problem if you hate to hand wash dishes!

Excellent getaway in a beautiful location

This is a lovely cabin in a beautiful area, just 5-10 minutes outside downtown Whitefish. My husband and I stayed here for two weeks, bringing our two dogs. Everyone enjoyed themselves. The owners were very responsive to all of our questions and we would love to stay there again.

Great stay!

Great cabin. Great views. Great location. Great stay. We booked this as a last minute cross country trip after our trip to Iceland was canceled. Montana offered us stunning views and amazing hikes. This cabin was the perfect base camp for us to explore the national forests and local trails. It’s close to town and close to recreation. The owner was available if needed, but we didn’t have any problems. We love Montana and will be back again!

This property is unique because of its incredible location. It is close to everything! Whitefish Mountain, Whitefish lake, Glacier Park, amazing restaurants, shops and nightlife in Whitefish. I can even ride my horse to the Bar W Ranch or ride to lunch at the Stillwater fish house.
