About this property

Quiet, Centrally located & Pet-Friendly 3-bed/2 1/2 bath house in New Orleans

Spacious and quiet 1908 duplex on a tree-lined street. Kitchen has all new appliances and W/D in unit. 3 beds upstairs, Master(K) has small bath and large closet attached, 2 other bedrooms(Q/Q) share a full bath, and 1 bedroom has a lovely balcony facing the street and our beautiful old oak tree. All bedrooms have Smart TV's as well as the Living Room. Pets are allowed on a case by case basis. There is a lovely shared backyard with a fire pit. All utilities, including high speed Wi-Fi included. I live on the other side with my family which includes a friendly dog and 2 cats. 420 friendly and off-street tandem parking for 3-4 cars.

A great option for less than 30 days: Because of New Orleans' short-term rental licensing restrictions, this home is offered on a 30-day rental basis — but that doesn't mean you have to stay the full month. If you're in town for a week or more for work, an event, a move, a medical stay, or just an extended visit, this can often work out cheaper than stringing together hotel nights, while giving you way more space, a real kitchen, and a place that actually feels like home.

Fully furnished and ready for you, just bring your suitcases and your pets' water and food bowls!

After fixing the foundation, leveling it, and fixing up the rental side, I am enjoying sharing it and my love for New Orleans with others. I moved my family here from Los Angeles in 2011 after falling in love with the city. I currently live and work remotely from my side with my friendly, but snooty, 3-legged English Setter and 2 cats.

Why they chose this property

Its quiet, safe, and most of the neighbors on my block have been here longer than me and I've been here 9 years. There is a cute but small grassy park a few houses down that I take my dog to play in every day. There are beautiful old oak trees lining the street and most of the streets in the area. I can get anywhere in the city in about 15 minutes and the airport in less than 25.

What makes this property unique

1908 with lots of original charm. 1900 square feet, so there is plenty of room to spread out. I love sitting on the balcony looking out at the street and the squirrels and crows in old oak tree in front.
