About the host
Hosted by Megan Langer
Set directly on the shoreline of Big Blake Lake, this lakefront retreat was designed for families who want more than just a place to stay. It’s for the kind of trips where cousins bond, kids unplug without being asked, and parents actually get to relax.
Flat yard. Private dock. Covered hot tub. On-site pontoon.
And an entire lower level built just for kids.
This isn’t accidental lake living. It’s intentional memory-making.
Our Story
When we found this stretch of shoreline, we knew the setting was special — calm water, wide-open lake views, & a flat yard that makes lake days effortless.
But we wanted to go further.
We didn’t just want another lake house with extra beds.
We wanted to create a place where kids walk in and immediately feel like the vacation was built for them.
So we imagined something different.
A full adventure level downstairs.
Sleeping pods they race to claim.
Climbing walls. Tunnels. Game spaces. Cozy nooks.
A place where imagination runs as freely as lake days.
Upstairs, we kept the balance — king bedrooms, open gathering spaces, a game room with arcades and pool table, and a covered hot tub where parents can unwind under the stars.
Fraser Fir became more than a cabin.
It became an experience.
Your Lakefront Experience
Mornings start with coffee & glassy water views.
Kids head downstairs before breakfast.
You ease into the day knowing they’re entertained.
Afternoons are for pontoon rides launched right from the property, dock jumps, paddle sessions, and full lake days without hauling gear down stairs.
Evenings mean pool table tournaments, arcade competitions, fireside laughter, and soaking in the hot tub while the lake reflects the sunset.
And when it’s finally time to sleep?
They disappear into their pods — exhausted and happy.
Fraser Fir is for families who want the kind of getaway that feels big, easy, and unforgettable.
Not just a weekend away.
The trip they talk about all year.

Why they chose this property
Because most lake houses are built for sleeping.
This one was built for memories.
Here’s what makes Fraser Fir different:
A Lake House That’s Actually Designed for Families
Not just extra beds — but an entire adventure level kids can’t stop talking about.
Sleeping pods. Climbing walls. Tunnels. Arcades. Game spaces. Cozy nooks.
It’s the kind of place where they run inside and don’t ask for screens.
Real Bedrooms for Real Rest
Four king bedrooms on the main level give adults space, privacy, and comfort — not makeshift sleeping arrangements or crowded bunk rooms.
A Game Room That Keeps Everyone Playing
Pool table. Arcade machines. Big-screen TV. Board games.
Rainy day? Late night? Already handled.
True, Easy Lakefront Access
Flat yard. No stairs. Private dock.
You’re steps from swimming, fishing, paddling, and full lake days without hauling gear downhill.
On-Site Pontoon
No complicated logistics.
Cruise the lake straight from your dock and turn an ordinary afternoon into the highlight of the trip.
Covered Outdoor Hot Tub
After a full day of play, sink into warm water under open skies while the lake quiets down for the evening.
Space for Everyone
Room to gather. Room to spread out. Room for kids to play loudly downstairs while adults unwind upstairs.
Fraser Fir isn’t just convenient.
It’s intentional.
It balances energy and ease in a way most lake properties simply don’t.
If you want a cabin where everyone — kids and adults — feels like the trip was designed for them…
This is it.
