Three-bedroom flat on the entire 2nd floor of a country house with a beautiful view in a wooded setting. Two balconies overlook a large lawn and woods, perfect for a peaceful getaway. There is one full bathroom and a fullly-equipped kitchen. Heating, portable air-conditioners, ceiling and floor fans are available. A quick drive to Watkins Glen Park and Taughannock State Parks, with Buttermilk Falls State Park and Cayuga Lake a bit further. 1.5 miles to downtown Trumansburg for restaurants, coffee, shops and laundromat. Enjoy touring wine country!

We enjoyed our stay in Trumansburg. The location was great, short distances to many of the sites, and to very good dining. The accommodations were clean and provided ample towels for showering and basic cookware and dining ware for preparing any meals on site.The accommodations would benefit from a few additional furnishings to make the space more comfortable and welcoming.The main bedroom had a comfortable king-size bed, but that was it! There were no chairs, no table, or other flat surfaces for eyeglasses, phones, or personal items. A side chair, or even a small bench to sit on while dressing or putting on shoes would be a simple and convenient addition. And small bedside tables, or even small shelves by the bed would make a considerable difference.The open kitchen and dining area had only four dining chairs. There seemed to be ample room for a loveseat or a couple of side chairs where family members or two couples could sit together and relax. There was a separate sitting room, but its daybed and small foam chair did not provide a particularly inviting gathering space.Overall, we felt the property was quite adequate but a few thoughtfully chosen furnishings would make it much more conducive to relaxing and enjoying time together.

Dan, Thank you for your review and suggestions. There are 3 nightstands and lamps in the walk-in closet in the bdrm. where the queen bed is located. I apologize for not pointing this out to you earlier. There was a chair in the bdrm. with the king bed. The portable air-conditioner being so large, I felt there wasn't room for both so I removed the chair temporarily. I took your suggestion and have ordered a little couch to go near the kitchen table. All the best!
