We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay! Room is very clean and comfortable, including the bed and pillows, and nicely decorated - cozy and chic, very nice! Tracy was super helpful and friendly and even left me an electric tea kettle when I inquired about preparing my morning tea in the room. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful but super close to all the Bryn Mawr/Haverford stuff. Highly recommend!
The Treehouse is a clean, cozy place to stay that was perfect for a visit to my daughter nearby. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful, and it was a quick 15 minute walk to Bryn Mawr campus (though lacking sidewalks). The hosts were quick to respond to messages, and even graciously offered to give me a ride to the station when they realized I had come by train!
If you’re a Bryn Mawr College parent planning on walking, be sure to go down to Montgomery St for sidewalks or you’ll be dodging cars on the more direct route. Tracy was super sweet and the rental was charming. Highly recommend
My husband and I decided to turn a Saturday wedding in Newtown Square into a weekend getaway. When I came across The Treehouse on Vrbo, I immediately felt it was exactly what I was looking for. From the start, Tracy was gracious and responsive. She quickly confirmed our reservation request and continued to answer all of our questions promptly throughout the planning process. We arrived on Friday and stayed until Sunday, and The Treehouse exceeded our expectations. It was far more charming and memorable than any hotel stay. Beautifully decorated like a fairytale cottage, it featured a comfortable king-sized bed, a cozy fireplace, a sofa, two closets, a small refrigerator, and a modern bathroom with a spacious shower. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful, offering recommendations for local restaurants and activities. There is no shortage of excellent dining options in the area. We enjoyed dinner at Autograph Brasserie on Friday evening. Before heading home on Sunday, we had a delicious breakfast at Angelo's Cafe and then visited Chanticleer Garden, which was the perfect ending to our weekend. If you're looking for a romantic getaway, I highly recommend The Treehouse. It's cozy, comfortable, and full of charm. Whether you're exploring the many nearby attractions or simply enjoying a morning stroll through the storybook-like neighborhood, you'll find plenty to love about this special place.
This was a perfect place for someone traveling as a couple or by themselves. It truly was a home away from home. The hosts were so sweet and welcoming. I stayed here for the weekend and it had everything I needed. The neighborhood was perfect for walking. There are no sidewalks in the immediate neighborhood but there was not a lot of traffic so that was not a problem. I will definitely book here again if I need somewhere to stay.
Tracy was a wonderful host. Her description of the space and details she provided left us with almost no questions to ask her; and she responded quickly when we did! The space we bright and airy, the A/C kept us comfortable despite the hot temps outdoors. You could tell she put effort in to the decor to make it a welcoming place. One of the highlights for me was the shower [really, -yes], I want one like it for our house now. She came out to greet us as we were heading out to make sure our stay was a pleasant one, a very nice young lady.
