Paradise Shores on Lake Michigan is a beautiful lakefront retreat designed for relaxation, comfort, and unforgettable views. Perched on a quiet bluff overlooking Lake Michigan and the scenic ravine of Blood Creek, this spacious home offers incredible panoramic views of Lake Michigan, access to 75 feet of sandy beach and sandy waters, and spectacular sunsets. The home comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests and includes four private bedrooms plus an additional common sleeping area, along with four bathrooms (three full and one half). Sleeping arrangements include one king bed, two queen beds, and two full/twin bunk beds. All furniture is selected for comfort, and Paradise features new beds and high-quality mattresses, ensuring a restful and relaxing stay for every guest.
Guests will enjoy the large outdoor deck overlooking the bluff and Lake Michigan, complete with a 10-person patio dining table, comfortable outdoor seating, and a gas grill—perfect for relaxing evenings while watching the sun set over the water. The backyard overlooks the ravine and Blood Creek, offering beautiful scenery and vibrant fall colors. A year-round hot tub provides the perfect place to unwind after a day at the beach. Paradise also features a year-round indoor sauna, giving guests another relaxing way to warm up and recharge in every season. A new private wooden staircase (approximately 50–60 steps) leads down the side of the bluff to 75 feet of privately-shared Lake Michigan frontage. Guests can enjoy the easy access of sandy beach with clear, sandy-bottom water, perfect for swimming, relaxing, and long walks along the shoreline. For those who prefer easier access, the lake can also be reached through a private drive just north of the house that requires no stairs. Guests will also have access to two kayaks to explore the shoreline and enjoy the water.
Inside the home, guests will find high-end finishes and exceptional craftsmanship throughout. The executive Amish-made kitchen is well stocked and designed for both convenience and entertaining, while offering immaculate views of Lake Michigan. Custom woodwork is featured throughout the home, with many pieces connected to historic local barns, farms, and regional industry, adding a unique character and warmth to the property. The living spaces include a cozy gas fireplace, central air conditioning, two 55-inch televisions with access to cable and streaming services, and reliable high-speed internet.
While the home feels private and peaceful, it is also conveniently located just 10 minutes from downtown Manistee, where guests can enjoy excellent restaurants, local shopping (Meijer is 4 miles away), golf courses, hiking trails, and charming tourist shops along the river and downtown. Whether you’re looking for outdoor adventure, seeing the giant sequoias (largest sequoias east of the Rocky Mountains - 1 mile away), a trip to Little River Casino (5 miles away) or a relaxing evening out, everything the area has to offer is close by.
Paradise Shores is available year-round, allowing guests to experience the beauty of Lake Michigan in every season. Winter guests are encouraged to bring a four-wheel drive vehicle due to typical lake-effect weather conditions in the area. Wildlife sightings are common, including deer and a growing population of bald eagles that can often be seen soaring along the shoreline. On clear nights, guests are even occasionally treated to the Northern Lights dancing over the lake, making for a truly memorable experience.
This home represents our third short-term rental on Lake Michigan - including the property located next door. Our other two Lake Michigan properties (Manistee’s Heaven & Eagle’s Nest in Manistee) are currently the top two rentals in Manistee, which have earned more than 250 five-star reviews. We take great pride in providing exceptionally clean homes, responsive service, and continually improving the amenities and guest experience at each home.
Please note that the home does not allow pets. As the property was recently acquired (early March), several improvements are currently underway (setting up TV’s, adding tons of amenities - including robust kitchen items and games for kids and adults, purchasing more furniture, redoing two showers, and completing maintenance on the property). Note that professional photos will be added in mid to late April once these renovations are complete. Given the timing of the March purchase and upcoming summer bookings, we have decided to list now - with the property opening April 24, 2026! (Bookings can be made now!)
