We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again if in the area. The home looks small on the outside but is actually quite spacious inside. It was spotlessly clean on our arrival. The location is fantastic. It felt very safe and quiet, and we really enjoyed walking into downtown.
It was a great location as a hub for mountain biking; it was very close to both Pisgah and DuPont. There is an area to wash your bikes but bring your own stand to make it an easier wash. It is walkable but, a little long if you were expecting a short stroll to restaurants.
I' didn't see that it had no dishwasher that was disappointing, also it's in a very steep location and on a big hill I have a balance walking disability so that was also disappointing. The living room has a small set of stairs to get to rest of the house the railing was wobling and a challenge for me. The downstairs shower doesn't protect the floor when using the shower it leaked water. The house was nice.

Katherine, we are sorry the home did not meet your personal expectations. The property is accurately advertised without a dishwasher, and we were never informed that anyone in your group had mobility or accessibility requirements. We provided both direct caretaker contact information and a 24/7 support number, checked in during your stay, and received no response or report of any concerns. Had you communicated with us, we would have gladly assisted and addressed the shower or railing immediately. While we respect that every guest has individual needs, it is difficult to resolve concerns that are only shared publicly after departure. We are nevertheless inspecting both items mentioned in your review.
