Head to the nearby dunes or gorgeous coastline for more adventure.



Enjoy fabulous lake views and the warm ambience of a wood-burning fireplace in the welcoming living area. Choose a board game for old-fashioned fun. Downstairs, the lounge offers additional relaxing space, with ample seating and a 32” TV.

We had a nice time at the house. It has such a gorgeous view of the lake, and was very relaxing. The kitchen was very well stocked with pans, dishes, seasoning and teas, everything we could have needed was there.

We went to Florence to play on the dunes and enjoy the quiet time at night. It was so peaceful on the lake. I would highly recommend this place. It's a little dated but I think that adds to the overall charm.

Property dated in decor but has a beautiful view, access to lake and all amenities needed. Both large beds were comfortable. For Thai reason I think it’s 5 star! Twin mattresses are hard. Ok for children. Will definitely came back.

A place with beautiful, changing views of the lake

The house has the charming features of a 1960s/1970s place. The unexpected bonus is the view--it ranges between the distant expanses of the lake on clear days and on foggy days, the trees between the house and the lake take on a mystical quality. It was a great pleasure seeing the hourly changes.

Loved the lake view, the house is dark and in need of updates, especially the bedroom carpet, has "old house" smell, but nice layout and outdoor areas. You can not launch your boat from the "private dock", way too high over the water.

Beautiful setting for a lake retreat

Overall a very enjoyable stay. Nice sized deck overlooking the lake framed by large trees. The interior of the house is a throwback to the 1970s, which honors the architectural design of the overall floor plan, so if you enjoy that style, this is your house. The Wi-Fi connection was solid and fast! If I were to have any issues, it would be that the dock that extends into the lake needs a little attention in the upkeep department. It would also be nice to add an appropriately sized seating area at the end of the dock that would accommodate up to four chairs comfortably to enjoy the lake as a family. Will definitely stay here again!
