Welcome to our humble Merritt Island home on the Space Coast of Florida! Nestled in Citrus River Groves, one of North Merritt Island's neighborhoods which used to be a hive of activity back in the day for growing oranges!

We spent the 4th of July long weekend at this house and had a great experience from start to finish. The location in Merritt Island was quiet and relaxing, while still being close enough to local restaurants and attractions to feel convenient.What really stood out was how welcoming the property was for traveling with our dogs. It's clear the space was set up with pet owners in mind, there was plenty of room in the backyard for our dogs to run around comfortably and no sense that we had to tiptoe around the house worrying about damage or restrictions. That kind of flexibility makes a huge difference when you're traveling with pets, and it's rare to find a place that handles it so well.The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a short stay. We'd happily book again, especially knowing our dogs are welcome too.Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing coastal escape that doesn't require leaving your dogs behind.

Hi! My name is Trevor. I am from Northwest Indiana originally, am a professional photographer / creator, and currently a full-time caretaker for a grandparent with Alzheimer’s / Dementia.

My wife and I were recently married in November 2025, lost my Grandfather in March, and heard a calling to move back home and help her in the remaining months and years of her life: putting us in the position of renting our home here in Merritt Island. We miss it greatly, but are excited others will be able to enjoy it in our absence.

Why they chose this property

We chose this neighborhood because of the neighbors. When touring the house, all our next door neighbors came over to say hello, meet the potential couple, tell their story, and that said everything. They help keep an eye on things. Bring the trash cans out / take them back in. Just what all neighbors should be. We were sold!

What makes this property unique

Our house is one of only two houses in North Merritt Island with a long waterfront view like this. Drinking your morning coffee on the couch or in the sunroom looking out at the calm, glassy water is serene! Sunsets are amazing. The heavy rainfalls during summer storms can be equally serene too. We just love it and hope you do too!
