That’s also where the first “Traumschleife” begins—one of 111 wonderful Traumschleife hikes around the Hunsrück and Hochwald regions.
The Ruwer Bike Trail is just a few minutes away; from there, you can ride along the old railway track to Kell am See, or even to the Moselle River and on to Trier or Koblenz.
You can quickly reach Trier, Germany’s oldest city, by bus—the nearest stops are just 300 and 550 metres away.
By car, it’s 12 kilometres, or a 15-minute drive, to the city centre.
There, of course, you’ll find pure culture as you follow in the footsteps of the Romans.
And if you’re looking for something special off the main shopping streets, you’ll find some of the most beautiful and trendiest cafés and bistros on Neustraße, for example.
Chic bars and iconic pubs also make the nightlife in this student city an experience to remember.
