There was lots of space so all of the family could go and enjoy one another’s company. Just seconds from the beach and a walk through the sand for the ocean sunrises were amazing from the back deck. The steps going to the beach were not cleared at all. Only four steps were uncovered by sand camming one of our family members to fall roll down the hill, the residence is very close to the pier and walking distance to a grocery store and restaurants, which is super nice.

The location of the property was great. Within walking distance to everything Surf City has to offer. Plenty of room for guest for sleeping but lacks any space for relaxing. For a house that sleeps 20 people only had enough comfortable seating for 5. The kitchen is smaller than anticipated. We are a family that likes to cook rather than go out and eat and the kitchen wasn’t big enough to cook for a large group. We made do tho. If you’re looking for somewhere that has the perfect location to not cook on your vacation this is it. The dunes have basically taken over the steps to the beach so it was an hard trek to get on and off the beach. Steep incline with lots of loose sand make it hard for anyone with any mobility issues. Luckily the public beach access was right next to the house. Overall it was a great trip. The host did answer my questions and had a plumber out twice to fix some issues the house had. No issues there. Easy to deal with. Checkout was at 10 and the cleaning people were in the driveway at 945 eagerly waiting to get in while we were finishing up loading.

The house is nice with alot of bedrooms and a large outdoor deck. The stairs to the beach are brutal as the bottom third is buried by the sand dune, making it a steep climb up slippery sand. Older members had to use the beach access nearby and walk around the front to get off the beach. Very close to the peir and several food options in walking distance. We enjoyed our stay.
