Bei Ruhe - Beautiful vacation home in a fantastic waterfront location

New (March 2019), very tastefully decorated Frisian house right on the canal in Hinte-Loppersum. Here you’ll find everything your heart desires.

The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It is a smoke-free home; one dog is allowed (the property is fenced in).

The ground floor is warmly and modernly furnished. The kitchen is fully equipped (dishwasher, oven, microwave, ceramic cooktop, filter coffee/pod machine, refrigerator, separate freezer compartment, kettle, toaster, and much more). The table comfortably seats 6 people (4 chairs and a bench; the table extends), and from here you have a fantastic view of the garden and the water. The furnished patio and the grill invite you to enjoy the outdoors.

In the living area, you’ll find a cosy sofa nook and an armchair with a flat-screen TV (Netflix and Amazon Prime available) and a stereo system.

A bedroom with a double bed, closet, and TV is located on the ground floor, as is a bathroom with a walk-in shower, a heated cabin (featuring a hi-fi system, colour changer, wellness mode, switchable leg and calf heating, and an ionizer with fragrance mode), toilet, and hair dryer.

You’ll also find a storage room on the ground floor with a washing machine, dryer, clothes rack, and cleaning supplies. A high chair and travel cot are available for our youngest guests.

On the upper floor, there are two additional bedrooms and a modern shower room. One of the bedrooms features a double bed, a closet, and a small dressing area; the second bedroom has two single beds and a closet. Both rooms are equipped with an additional flat-screen TV.

All windows are equipped with pleated blinds (the bedroom has blackout pleated blinds) and fly screens. The entire house is equipped with radiant floor heating.

The house features a spacious dock where you can moor your own boat or cast a line into the water (with a fishing licence). In the garden, you’ll find a shed with an e-bike charging station, and two bicycles are available for your use during your stay. The garden is completely fenced in, open only towards the water.

A safe is available in the house for your personal valuables (we assume no liability).

There are two parking spaces available in front of the house.

Starting in spring 2021, a boat will be available to you free of charge (subject to availability, at your own risk, available from April through October; you can rent a motor for a fee in Georgsheil—details will be provided upon arrival at the house).

The neighbouring house is called Loppi Hus, should you need more space.

Loppersum is an ideal base for exploring all of East Frisia. From here, you can take bike tours to Emden, home to the State Museum, the Kunsthalle, and canal cruises; Suurhusen, with the world’s most leaning church tower, is also very close by. We also highly recommend the famous Three Seas Bike Tour, for which Loppersum is the ideal starting point. By car, you can reach Greetsiel in about 20 minutes, and the coast in about 30 minutes.
