A gate clicker is provided to you for your stay within a lock box located at the entry of the property and is to be returned to the lockbox upon your departure. The information for this will be provided to you upon booking. The entry gate has a sign clearly stating “The Milk Barn Farm Stays” and there are signs to help guide you to the second gate and down to the home. The first home you see is the hosts home and if any major issues arise that cannot be resolved through the messages application on VRBO, you’re welcome to come to the home for help. Typically someone is always home, either Heather, or Bradley the owners, or Laura (Mother in law) who can assist. We have two young boys and we can usually be found watching them ride their quads, setting irrigation, playing in our front yard at the main home or someone nearby!

We had a perfect one night stay! The fenced yard was perfect for playing fetch with our dogs and the farm eggs were delicious! The house was so so cozy, beautiful, and well organized. We will definitely be back again. It is clear so much love was put into making our stay wonderful!
Perfect peaceful setting for our short stay en route to the coast. The Milk Barn was immaculate, welcoming and very comfortable for us and our pup. The fenced area right outside the house was appreciate. The bedding is fresh and clean, ample towels in the bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchen. The owners put a lot of thought into creating these accommodations.
This property was so comfortable, quiet, clean and beautifully decorated, great set of dishes and Cuisinart pans and everything you would need. The location was perfect, private with a lovely view and we experienced a beautiful sunset. The host was very easy to communicate with and responded promptly. Thank you so much!
We had an amazing stay at the farm! The house was super cute, well equipped and very much as described. The A/C was much appreciated on a hot June weekend. The instructions for entry were easy to follow and parking was great. The only thing I would say is that the yard is fenced, but not secure for a dog as the front piece is a farm gate that a dog can go under or in between the metal bars. Our dogs were fine and not tempted to leave to go see the horses, but others might not have the same experience. We would definitely stay again!
Really nice house. Bed was comfortable. Shower was incredible. Kitchen had everything! Living room comfortable. Yard great. Perfect stay. Thank you Heather for everything.
Thank you for giving us grace with the check in mix up. We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay and we hope to host you again!
About the host

Originally from California, residing in Grants Pass Oregon since 2020; we love living in the “River City.” Located conveniently between the coast and the mountains, the opportunities for exploration and discovery are endless. We invite you to come and immerse yourself in the culture here; explore the wine country, the rivers, the microbreweries, the golfing communities and the wildlife!
Why they chose this property
We chose the property for the views and the potential it held to run a full blown farm. With such peaceful sounds and beautiful views we instantly fell in love with the property when we first saw it. The milk barn was pretty dilapidated and needed major renovations. We have converted the space over the last 3 years and we want you to see what we saw all along! We love the convenience of being close to town but it not feeling like you are. We love raising our boys here, and hope you’ll see what we love so much when you stay here.
What makes this property unique
A fully converted milk barn on a working farm. With animals roaming the property and mountain and valley views and close proximity to town; this home checks all the boxes.
