We loved our stay at The Nook. It's pet-friendly, clean, and exactly as described. The bed is one of the highest quality mattresses I've had in a rental property. Fantastic! And the host provides little things you might need for your dog: a leash, a blanket, poop bags, toys, and bowls. Very welcoming for 4-legged friends. This is the perfect location if you're looking for a quiet place in the country. It's a short easy drive to downtown Weaverville, where there's delicious little local restaurants. The porch is great for quiet mornings and evenings - no bugs to worry about because it's screened in! A great little cabin/tiny house. There aren't any mountain views directly from the cabin, but it's close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and all kinds of outdoor adventure. If you're looking for a clean, quiet, comfortable getaway (especially if you want to include your pet), this is the perfect little place.

I’m a marketing and brand strategist who fell in love with this area and created this space as a creative escape. I’ve always believed where you stay should feel intentional, not just functional. Hosting gives me the chance to share a place that feels inspiring, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed... whether you’re here to explore, unwind, or just reset for a few days.

Why they chose this property

This area offers the best of both worlds... quiet, scenic, and peaceful, while still being just minutes from Weaverville and a short drive to Asheville. I love the balance of mountain views, open space, and easy access to great food, local art, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It feels tucked away, but never disconnected.

What makes this property unique

The Nook is exactly what it sounds like… a cozy, tucked-away retreat designed for comfort and calm. With its warm, thoughtful details and inviting feel, it’s a space that instantly helps you slow down and settle in. From the screened-in porch to the soft, lived-in touches throughout, it feels private, peaceful, and just a little bit special. It’s the kind of place where mornings are quiet, evenings are easy, and everything is set up to help you unwind (yes, your dog will feel right at home too).
