It is an easy ride to Weaverville, a bustling, friendly mountain town, with amazing restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the trails around the cottage with our dog, the changing leaves, and the cottage's natural setting. A special shout out to Stoney Know Cafe and Maggie's. (best sandwich I ever had). We will be back!

The cabin was lovely and just like the listing! The property is gorgeous, and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The hosts' house is nextdoor, so they are readily available if needed. The driveway is kindof steep, but it's in the mountains so that's what you'd expect.

We loved the location, views. The cottage was lovely, nicely decorated, immaculately clean. The picture of the cottage showed five steps leading up to it, but there were actually many more leading from the parking area to those steps. My wife uses a walker and those steps made entry to the cottage more challenging. Otherwise, for anyone without mobility issues, the cottage would clearly be a five star experience. The only other minor issue was that had the garage lights been on when we arrived it would have made our entry somewhat easier. All of that said, otherwise we very much enjoyed our stay and the cottage was as described and a fantastic place for our visit to the area.

Perfect little getaway!

My wife and I spent a weekend away in this cottage and it was well worth it. Close to everything, yet feels like you're tucked away. Excellent hosts that answer any questions you have.

Highly recommend the cozy cottage!

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend to enjoy all that Asheville has to offer. The location of this property is within 15 minutes to downtown, a mile from a cute strip in downtown Weaverville, and easy access to Blueridge Parkway. We would stay here again!

What a relaxing week in the mountains!

This cottage is the perfect getaway! Quiet, peaceful, clean and well-equipped. We enjoyed accessing the nature trail on the property, as well as the proximity to town (both Weaverville & Asheville). Janie was a lovely, responsive host and we hope to book with her again on our next trip to Asheville.

Wonderful place to enjoy some Maui magic

We enjoyed our time at this lovely condo. The condo is spacious with a secluded patio area where we enjoyed most of our breakfasts during our stay. The grounds and pools at the property are beautiful. Such a great central loccation with Kamaole III beach just a short walk away, and all of Kihei's or Wailea's beautiful beaches and dining options within a few minutes drive. We would happily return!

Very comfortable at cozy cottage in the woods!

We loved staying at this property. It is so comfortable and truly cozy. The owner and hostess, Janie, was wonderful. It is tucked back on her property which is beautiful. There are hiking trails, a couple of fire pits and casita! Rest and relax here. It is a short hop over to the cute little town of Weaverville and close to West Asheville and Candler. We will go back and highly recommend this for your getaway in the woods.

Absolutely charming private place to stay.

Absolutely charming private place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. Close enough to Asheville where we spent our days. The owners thought of everything to give you that Five Star feeling, from Bath robes, ample blankets, chocolate on your pillow, tea and coffee and a bottle of wine. Their location is just breath taking. Almost felt like we were in a tree house above everything with just a beautiful view of the landscape. Would definitely recommend this place to just get away from town and relax. Janie and John were fantastic and very accommodating.

Just right for us!

Cozy Cottage was just what we needed for our weekend visit to Weaverville for a family birthday party. It was quiet and comfortable and exactly as described. It was so clean and had everything we needed including extra touches like wine in the fridge and chocolates on the pillows. It is very close to the downtown area and just a few minutes away from shopping and restaurants . If and when we return to Weaverville, we would love to stay in Cozy Cottage again! Janie and John were very responsive to my messages and questions.

Our Asheville Getaway

This is a fabulous place to stay! Tucked away in the winding, hilly roads of Weaverville, you feel like you are far removed from the city hustle, but you are only a mile or two away from everything you would want, great shopping, golf and restaurants. Biltmore estate is only a short trip away. Weaverville is a cute town too, don't overlook its quaint shops. John and Janie are wonderful folks, very accommodating and helpful every step of the way. We have left with new friends that I hope we will see again. The "Cozy Cottage" is a warm and inviting place! Everything provided to you is top quality. We truly enjoyed our stay here with our 2 pups.

The Cozy Cottage is a hidden gem in Weaverville, NC. Beautiful surroundings and secluded. The cottage is very clean and well equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed walking the trails on the property. We were welcomed with chocolates on our pillows and a bottle of wine. Janie and John are great hosts, extremely welcoming and so very kind. We enjoyed a visit with Ziggy, one of their dogs. Thank you for your hospitality. We loved the Cozy Cottage and will surely visit again. We left with new friends that we hope to see again. What a memorable week. We didn't want to leave. Very charming and a perfect getaway.

Lovely Stay

Janie was very accommodating with our late arrival and extended stay so we could fit in a few more activities on our trip. The cottage was very clean and cozy. It is located on their property so it is not secluded completely, but it still felt private. Location is great to reach different areas around Asheville and the city itself. We brought our dog Charlie with us and there were no issues. Overall it was very wonderful!

Pleasant retreat in a convenient location

We had a wonderful stay at this place - super clean, beautiful grounds, comfortable mattress, extra comfy porch swing, and a well-supplied kitchen. Perfect place to spend a day relaxing, working on a puzzle by the gorgeous arched window that faces the woods. Was not quite as private as we'd thought- from the listing we could tell it was on the same property as a larger home, but didn't realize we'd be looking right at it through the living room windows and from the porch swing. Didn't bother us, but maybe isn't what some folks are looking for if they want to be secluded. Janie was extremely welcoming and kind! She stopped by with Ziggy, their super friendly pup. Had a great time. Thanks for the wonderful accommodations!
