You've found it. The perfect beach house! The stunning, double A-frame roof design lets in all the sunshine - filling the living room, dining room, and kitchen with plenty of light.

This house has all the space and amenities you need. With four bedrooms (king, 2 queens, 2 bunks - 4 twins), there's plenty of room for your family and guests. In addition to two full bathrooms, there's a refreshing, enclosed outdoor shower. Two ceiling fans plus air conditioners in every room keep the house cool. Large, furnished front deck plus screened-in porch complete with picnic table. Just off the porch is a shed with a newer washer and dryer and storage space for the bikes and beach chairs we'll provide. Plus outdoor grill, Internet (Verizion FiOS), WiFi, streaming TV and music (Amazon Echo and LPs).

The ocean, bay, tennis courts, basketball court, ball field, market and marina are just a few minutes away. A short block away, you'll find the bay beach including a wading pool and playground - renter's fee is $500. The restaurants, shops, and theater are only 15 minutes away by bike.

Terrific house in a terrific place

Our family had a wonderful in David's home. The location in Seaview is outstanding in that it is near the dock and store, but not too near. It is quite close to the playground and pool area if you need any more activity than the beach just a short block away. The house is clean, comfortable, and very open in its floor plan and options for hanging out. There is a big family room, screened in porch, and large deck which can accommodate lounging, relaxing, and cookouts for a good number of people. David was an excellent host and great to work with. We would recommend this property highly and look forward to returning.

Treasure Find at Seaview, Fire Island

My family and I loved the house, Seaview, and Fire Island. This charming home has everything you need including friend neighbors, a toddler pool/playground directly across the way. This was a tranquil find and much appreciated. The bay is one block away and the ocean the other- what more can anyone dream of for tranquility. The outdoor screened in area was lovely for dining. Thank you David so much!

Beautiful Fire Island Escape

Such a beautiful home that's centrally located. Such an easy walk from the Ferry and only 10 minute walk to the town. While a lot of homes on Fire island are packed together with very little privacy, this house is tucked away on a corner lot with plenty of privacy. The beach is only 2 minute walk from the house which is great. We would do anything to be lounging on the deck with a cocktail right now. The house has an outdoor shower and a big grill. Highly recommend this home, we cant wait to get back.

George Washington Slept Here ...

Well, even though it is unlikely that GW ever made it to Fire Island, there is little doubt that he would have been swept away by its beauty and lifestyle, and what surrounds you in this wonderful Seaview home. The house itself is architecturally stunning on the outside and inside. Having stayed there for many nights, it is comfortable and spacious, well laid out, clean, and has modern appliances and all the comforts one might want in any home, much less a "beach house". It's located just a short walk to the amazing Fire Island ocean beaches, and close to the Bay as well. Being in Seaview, one gets the best of both worlds; the peace and serenity of Seaview with easy (perhaps a 10 minute walk away) to downtown Ocean Beach, where there is not only grocery shopping, but also a beautiful Fire Island town with great restaurants, shops, ice cream and more, not to mention a hopping nightlife for dancing and more for those so inclined. My favorite part of this stunning capacious house is still the (private) outdoor shower. It would be hard not to have a great time here whether inside or out and about!

Sand and Swim

A beautiful beach home, centrally located a 2 minute walk from both the beach and the bay. Just 10 minutes from downtown and 5 minutes from the local market, this house is perfect for someone who wants a quiet beach getaway but still wants to have fun at night. I can't imagine a better spot!

The home was very well maintained, was close to town yet very quiet and extremely spacious. We especially loved having afternoon cocktails on the lovely veranda surrounding the home. We can't wait to go back this summer.

What makes this property unique

The unique double A-frame roof lets all the light in ... and the stars at night. It's surprisingly spacious and easily accommodates up to ten people. The back porch is perfect for private outdoor dining while the front deck is a great spot for sunning, resting and reading. Then, there's the outdoor shower - the perfect place to end or start your day. The house is extremely well situated close to the ocean, the bay, the market, the restaurants and the ferry.
