Historic 2-bedroom, fully equipped apartment with AC & laundry in charming Vevay
This is a renovated 1821 building, fully furnished, short term rental called "The Loft"! I can't wait to share this place with you. Located in the heart of the quaint Ohio River town of Vevay, Indiana and within an hour to places such as The Ark, Creation Museum, historic Madison, Indiana, and walking distance to the local shops, the river front park, eateries, art gallery, the infamous Kat Von D's tulip field, VondLand and more. Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place.
There is a private bedroom with queen bed, a full size bed in the loft, and a roll away twin bed for extra guest. The couch is also comfy. And I just added a futon! This space is fully equipped from the kitchen to the bathroom..you won't need a thing! Why stay in a hotel when you can literally have your home away from home!

I live in Vevay, just a few blocks from The Loft. I've been in real estate for nearly 30 years and own a local real estate company called River Ridge, Realtors. I've always had a love for old homes and antiques. I got into renovations and flipping a few years ago and then decided to do airbnbs. I buy homes/buildings that most don't want... This building took me three years to get just two of the units completed! It had been the town's eye sore for many decades! What do I love about being a host? Vevay is a quaint little town with a big heart. The idea that I get to provide guest that come into town a comfortable, welcoming space to stay and enjoy all that Vevay, and the surrounding areas, have to offer is very satisfying. The occasional guests that I get to meet have been so thankful for having a place like The Loft to stay.
What makes this property unique
A very unique, historic building located one block from the Ohio River...can you imagine what it would have been like back in the day!! Unfortunately, no photos have been found of this building, built in 1821. During renovations, the "Delaney's Saloon" lettering on the front of the building was uncovered and the town went crazy. Up until that time, no one had any history on the building.
