The Space:

The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops. The well-equipped living space features comfortable furniture, a TV, a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, a full bathroom, and a comfortable sofa bed and Murphy bed for when it's time to finally rest.



Things to Know

The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.

Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.



Assigned Parking begins Sunday 6/6/26 through 9/11/26. In Season Check in and Parking instructions:

NO EARLY PARKING or NO EARLY CHECK-INS ***No Early Parking and space numbers are NOT the same as the unit number.

***SATURDAYS ONLY… ****Security Staff will be positioned in the parking lot to give you your parking permit and parking space number at your check in time through 8pm, after 8pm please go to the front desk in the lobby of the Golden Sands building. There is 1 parking space available and Building Policy is a strict No early parking. Vehicles may not be parked or left unattended during the move in or move out process. All vehicles must be parked in your assigned parking space or your vehicle is subject to booting or towing at the vehicle owner’s expense. Parking tags must be displayed at all times. ***No Early Parking and space numbers are NOT the same as the unit number.

***SUNDAY through FRIDAY…June 6th, 2026 through September 11th, 2026 ****Please see the front desk in the lobby of the Golden Sands for your parking permit at your check in time. Please have your check in email ready for staff. ***



Max occupancy is three: two adults and one child under the age of 13.

The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.

Anniversary get away

My husband and I enjoyed our off season stay here. It was nice to have the indoor pool, sauna and pool tables to use since it wasn't quite warm enough yet to get my feet wet in the ocean. Convenient location, loved listening to the waves, cute decor, and friendly people

Ocean View w very short walk to the beach

Well cared for and clean studio at Ocean Sands. First floor located means a super easy walk to the beach. Great rental for a couple or a small family. Everyone at Ocean Sands was friendly and helpful. The check in and check out process was super easy too. The Tiki Bar and recreation area at the resort are great amenities included with this rental. Would definitely rent again!!

Driving distance from the boardwalk, Fenwick beach, assateague island and there was not shortage of nearby stores. Right on the first floor next to steps down to patio, beach and exit to parking area. Balcony with sliding glass door where you and see and hear the ocean waves.

We loved the proximity to the beach, the cleanliness & the resort itself. Our only complaint is the laundry space door is too big and won’t close, it was difficult getting in and out but the owners do seem to love their place.

Great beach front place and affordable!

The first floor was very convenient going to the beach and back. Cute place and the decor, perfect for 2 guests (couple or friends). The 10-digit keypad for the door was a little extensive, so make sure everyone has the 10-digit code. Affordable place, not too crowded with tourists since it's north OCMD, and will definitely book again!

Ocean city trip

Stayed a few days at ocean city. Property was beach front with a great view of the ocean. Very small but excellent for 2 people. We were on the 1st floor, so stairs were very user friendly. Only had 4 elevators and 22 floors. Only downside was long wait time for elevators.

A perfect little getaway....

The unit is lovely with a well thought out floor plan well stocked and we'll located. The weather wasn't good but we made the best of it. We did have difficulty getting in and I was a bit annoyed when the person we were talking with from Vascasa kept saying our check in wasn't until 4pm and the reason the code wasn't working when it was a 2pm check in...it all worked out and we had a great stay.

Lovely studio apartment

We enjoyed every minute at this location. Right on the beach. This apartment had everything we needed. Only problem was the table and chairs. I am 80 and my husband is 78. We had a little problem using the high table & chairs. But we were only there for 3 nights. So, we did the best we could.

25th year at Golden sands.

Love this condo. Great location. Love the private beach and the Tiki bar. But...the price has doubled! I expected a rent increase, but oh my. Talked to a lot of people at the Golden sands that feel the same way. Noticed less people than other years.

Short and Sweet

We took a long weekend to the beach just to get away as a family and relax. it’s a small unit but the suggestion of two adults and one kid under 13 was spot on. The location was great and the unit was perfectly located. The only issue was the hot water did not last. The property manager attempted to fix it matter. definitely will return and I definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful Condo

This place had so many great things we loved. Let me start off by saying the only thing that could be upgraded was the dvd player. There were no red boxes at least around to rent some movies to watch and there were only a few dvd provided. Other than that, the condo itself was clean and the host provided absolutely everything we needed. I love the code box so we wouldn’t have to worry about keeping up with a key or a card to come in and out. The place is right on the beach and literally one floor above the area where it brings you to an outdoor pool, ice cream shop and various other activities for children. It’s perfect for a couple or a family with one or two kids.
