There are family-fun games, bountiful outdoor seating under a covered gazebo, and relaxing views of Ocean City right from the backyard. With ample private dock space, you can launch your kayaks and paddleboards to explore the waterways around the home. Ready to relax? The kitchen features brand-new appliances, new cookware, and plentiful serving dishes. The outdoor patio comfortably seats six so you can dine waterside. Here’s a more impactful, polished version that still feels honest and direct without sounding over-the-top:I don’t typically leave negative reviews, but this stay genuinely fell far below expectations. This was, without exaggeration, one of the dirtiest rentals I’ve ever experienced.The water in both the sinks and shower had a strong sulfur smell that filled the entire house every time it was used, making it very unpleasant. The blinds in multiple rooms were broken and damaged, as if they had been clawed or neglected for quite some time. There was visible animal hair on the blankets and couch, along with pet food left under bedroom furniture.What was most concerning was the overall lack of basic cleaning. Light switches, vents, ceiling fans, and window sills were all coated in grime. For the cleaning fee charged, I would have expected at least a basic level of sanitation and attention to detail, which clearly was not done.The only positive aspect of this property is its convenient location near the boardwalk and Assateague, which we did enjoy. Unfortunately, the condition of the home itself significantly impacted our stay, and I would not choose to rent here again. The lack of communication/ follow-through from the management company was also frustrating.
