About 1 hour 20 minutes from Seattle with no ferry required, Cove & Cedar is designed for families, couples traveling together, and small groups who want a quiet waterfront stay without a long travel day.

Guests may launch the kayaks from the property when conditions permit. Kayaking and waterfront use depend on weather, tides, water conditions, and guest judgment.
Inside the home: The home is set up for relaxed group stays, with 4 bedrooms, comfortable gathering spaces, upstairs and downstairs electric fireplaces, a full kitchen, coffee setup, laundry, and individually controlled room thermostats. It works well for families, couples traveling together, or a quiet getaway with friends.
Outdoor living: Enjoy the covered hot tub with water views, outdoor grill, fire features, starter firewood logs, s’mores sticks, and outdoor games including badminton, basketball, and bocce. On clear nights, the area gets very dark, making it a great spot for stargazing. Flashlights are provided.
Good to know: Cove & Cedar is best suited for families and quiet small groups.

Great location. Right on the water. Family enjoyed the kayaks included at the property. Had a game night, house was big enough to accommodate 6 adults and all of us be together at the same time in the dining/living room area. Good place to bring a busy family together and take a breather, and relax. Would stay here again.

The BEST get away
Wow! There are no words to describe this place.
The bedrooms are luxurious and make you feel truly pampered. Each one has its own beautiful view. The amenities are fantastic: a well-equipped kitchen with essentials, cookware, coffee and tea, and dining options both indoors and outdoors.
There is, of course, a TV with streaming services, but who needs that? With kayaks, beach access, and nearby trails, it's easy to immerse yourself in island/beach life. There are also fun and charming local shops and some great thrift stores if that's your thing.
Our only regret is not staying longer. We can't wait to come back for another visit. If you're looking for the perfect place to relax, recharge, and enjoy the beauty of the island, look no further.

Best Girls' Weekend!
We had an incredible stay at Cove & Cedar—an ideal setting for five friends to reconnect, relax, and recharge. The expansive water views were truly stunning and visible from all three floors.
We spent most of the weekend at the house—cooking, playing games, taking long beach walks, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked, which made preparing meals easy and enjoyable. We also appreciated the comfortable beds and high-quality linens—great sleep is a priority for all of us, and this place delivered.
Evenings around the outdoor fire pit, making s’mores after a long soak in the hot tub, were a highlight of the trip. This was the perfect spot for a laid-back getaway, and we’re already thinking about when we can return.

Private Waterfront Home w/Panoramic Views
Our first stay at Cove & Cedar surpassed our expectations.
From the stunning views and beautifully updated home to kayaking on Utsalady Bay, exploring nearby parks, visiting Camano Commons Bakery & Coffeehouse, and wandering through Matzke Fine Art Gallery & Sculpture Park, every day offered opportunities to experience the natural beauty and welcoming spirit of Camano Island.
The light-filled living spaces, comfortable furnishings, and multiple decks made it easy to enjoy both sunny afternoons and cozy evenings. During our stay, we spotted whales, eagles, herons, seals, and deer right from the deck. One of our favorite moments was relaxing in the hot tub while watching the sun set over the bay.
The outdoor spaces were especially inviting. Adults enjoyed gathering on the decks and around the fire pit while children played lawn games nearby, creating opportunities for everyone to relax, connect, and enjoy the waterfront setting together.
Cove & Cedar strikes a wonderful balance between comfort and tranquility. Whether you’re seeking a romantic getaway, a gathering of close friends, or a small family retreat, this peaceful waterfront home provides the perfect setting to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy island life.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Camano Island beachfront home. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The property and views were stunning, and being able to walk right out to the water made it even more special. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The fire pit and hot tub were amazing too. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with. I had a great time here with my daughter, and we would definitely stay again.
