About the host

Tom and I have called South Carolina home for over 31 years, where we raised our four children and created a lifetime of memories. When they were young, Bryson City was one of our favorite places to escape—camping, exploring, and enjoying the beauty of the mountains together.
Now as empty nesters, we’re embracing a new chapter filled with adventure. We love traveling across the U.S., discovering its incredible landscapes, and experiencing all the beauty this country has to offer.
Bryson City still holds a special place in our hearts, and we’re so happy to share our home away from home with guests. Hosting gives us the chance to help others create their own memorable experiences in a place we’ve loved for so many years.

Why they chose this property

We chose this neighborhood for its peaceful, quiet setting and the beautiful mountain views. It offers plenty of space to relax and play, making it perfect for families or anyone looking to unwind. At the same time, it’s just about 2 miles from town, so you’re close to restaurants, shops, and local attractions while still enjoying a private retreat.

What makes this property unique

Close to town, but feels remote.
