Great views! Pictures are true to the look/feel. If you’re looking for a cabin that has privacy and close proximity to the town, this is a fantastic option.
Everything was EXCELLENT. Minus the fact that we had a huge snow storm roll in on Christmas eve, which wreaked some havoc. As a result of the storm, we lost power and water. This brought up some basic questions like, I wasn't sure if the driveway would get cleared, or if we had to shovel it ourselves, because the driveway is quite long, windy, and steep. We were also unclear on how to start the generator which we found in the back yard or if that was even 'allowed'. Getting an answer to these basic questions was incredibly frustrating, but I saw that as a weakness of the Vrbo ridiculous digital media tech support channels and not the home owners. I'm also cutting everyone some slack since this occurred on Christmas Eve. Honestly, if it were not for the excellent next door neighbors, we would have been in a jam. The neighbors gave us the name of the snow plow driver who showed up within a half hour of us texting him. The house was perfect, really really lovely. We used the kayaks and that was a load of fun. Excellent memories. I was sorry it got soured by digital media gone awry. Vrbo, if you are reading this, please take a hard look at your support channels (phone, email, SMS, chat bot) and their effectiveness, cuz' I thought it was awful.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the home, kayaks, and the memories you made. We’re sorry for the challenges during the Christmas Eve storm, including the power outage and driveway concerns. While the home does not have a generator for guest use, utility crews worked quickly, and we coordinated with the homeowner and plow company to clear the driveway. We appreciate your patience and hope you’ll consider returning in the summer for an even more enjoyable stay.
