We loved our stay in this cabin! It was a great amount of space for us and our dog. Incredibly clean and well taken care of. We had a great time sitting out on the screened in porch. There was also nature trails attached to the property which was a great bonus! Highly recommend and we'd love to stay again!

The cabin looked exactly like the pictures, was very clean and had everything we needed if we wanted to cook our meals there. The property is beautiful and well kept, and we look forward to coming when the weather is warmer to enjoy our morning coffee on the screened in porch.

A very pleasant vacation experience

We weren’t sure what to expect when we booked a cabin for a home base for site seeing on the Maine coast. We figured it was a place to rest our head after a long day of touring and we wouldn’t spend much time there. We ended up cooking dinner on the provided charcoal grillfor one evening and got takeout for another We tried several different restaurants and the wait was going to be too long or couldn’t get in. We ante all our breakfasts at the cabin. We spent one of our days sitting on chairs in the yard reading a book, mixed in with a short hike on one of the trails at the location. It was just so quiet and restful there we didn’t want to leave. Kids were using their scooters while folks walked their dogs. I would highly recommend Point Lookout for all ages.

Disappointing

Disappointing - I've stayed at this property numerous times when opening and closing our nearby seasonal cottage. On this stay, I needed the cabin an extra night and they confirmed it was available. However, the rate for the additional night was double the rate during my stay there. I could understand a slight increase in nightly rate but not double. I won't be staying at the property again because of this.
