Mongiove: an ancient fishing village, in the middle of the Bay of Patti, that goes from Capo Milazzo to Capo Calavà. In the crystal clear waters of the Gulf of Patti, the panorama includes the Aeolian Islands also called Aeolian Islands. The highest active volcano in Europe, Mount Etna, is just 95km from Mongiove across the Nebrodi Mountains.

To the north, the splendid Aeolian or Aeolian Islands, reachable daily in summer from Milazzo, Patti and Capo d'Orlando. - The Aeolian Islands include: Lipari, Stromboli, Vulcano, Alicudi, Filicudi, Salina and Panarea.

To the east, Mongiove is sheltered by Mount Giove and a little further away, Tindari, famous for the Sanctuary of the Black Madonna. - Tindari hides many treasures and is, thanks to the perfectly preserved remains of the ancient Greek polis Tyndaris, built in 396 BC.
