Our stay got off to a rough start in that the previous guest left her cat behind. No food, water or litter. The response from the host was somewhat delayed and I called VRBO customer service. Everything was straightened out and the next day the cat was picked up. Our stay was fine from then on.I have 2 recommendations: explain the parking situation in the listing and install a railing on the front steps.

Thank you for staying with us, Maureen, and for the thoughtful feedback. I'm sorry your arrival was disrupted by the previous guest's situation. That's not the experience we want anyone to have, and I'm glad Vrbo and our team got it resolved quickly. We've since added parking details (Metropolis is directly behind the building) to the listing. Our building is on the National Register of Historic Places, so exterior changes like a railing require extra review, but we're exploring options for the front steps. We appreciate your stay and hope to host you again.
