Very convenient for us since we were visiting my son in Grosse Pointe Park. Perfect for 2 people since the kitchen and bathroom are pretty tiny! A nice space and overall good renovation job. My only complaint would be the lack of lamps - no good reading spots and the existing lighting is pretty dim. Highlights would be the front porch and the Fairfax Market!

Cute property in a conveniently located neighborhood. Comfortable beds, easy check-in, and plenty of coffee. Recommend this place for groups of 4-5 but not necessarily 6 people as the sofa isn’t a sofa bed just recliners. The shampoo and conditioner provided smells wonderful!

The property was a bit rough – paint peeling off walls, bathtub peeling. Most days I was there the water was turned off for some part of the day.The last night of my stay, the guests above me were very loud until about three in the morning, which means I did not get much sleep. More lamps are needed.There was no cushion in the back of one of the living room chairs.

Apologize about the water,. The city is replacing the water mains on the street and they've been interrupting service. I wish you would have mentioned to us about the cushion and the loud noise,. we could have addressed that immediately.

Just the place to stay in Grosse Pointe.

Very clean. Everything you could want in a rental. Dishes, pots, pans, towels, hangers. The beds and linens were so good, and it was SO VERY QUIET!! I even opened the door to the unit and heard a baby crying, upon closing the door-not one sound Not even the people on the second floor, over our heads-no sound. One could hear people coming down the stairs but this is all. The house is very old and I loved it. Kitchen is modern. Furniture is sturdy. Parking is available. Nice hot water. The flat screen tv has excellent color and sound.

Comfortable space

My reason for four vs five stars is because the main living area and bedrooms did not have enough light. Also it would have been nice to have network channels to watch local and national news. The steaming shows are always a day later than when they aired. Beds were comfortable but pillows weren't great. Also would have loved to have a blow dryer for my hair. Other than those minor details it was a comfortable and clean place.

Excellent Place!

Great place to stay. Very Clean, comfortable beds, nice bathroom, I will definitely stay there again! The owner takes good care of of the place. The WiFi worked really well. The market across the street has wonderful pizza and sandwiches.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Updated apartment in an historic building with a lot of character Very clean and well appointed, and the beds were super comfortable, including the soft sheets . Great little market kiddy corner to the apartment. Kevin was extremely communicative and helpful in every way . I would definitely recommend this place for a visit to the Grosse Pointe / Detroit area
