Renovated 1st Floor Unit in the Fan

Welcome to the Fan! It's one of Richmond's most walkable and charming neighborhoods, surrounded by tree-lined streets, colorful rowhouses, and locally owned restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. Walk to great food in minutes or a slightly longer walk to Carytown, the VMFA (free!), and Scott's Addition breweries. Or go further afield to Byrd Park, Maymont, and the James River.

You'll be staying in a renovated 1912 duplex rowhouse in the first floor unit.

It features a living room (with 65 inch TV) that can be closed off to create a 2nd bedroom. It has Wirecutter's #1 sleeper sofa (queen size and no middle bar!) and blackout curtains.

The bedroom has a queen bed and work desk, along with blackout curtains. It also has an armoire and dresser for all your storage needs, and a closet is in the hallway.

You'll also have a separate dining room/game room, with another TV, record player (and vinyl!) and bluetooth, and board games. We also have a full kitchen with a breakfast nook overlooking the back courtyard. And a washer/dryer in unit.

This place was wonderful! Placed perfectly in The Fan to walk to various neighborhood spots like restaurants and grocery stores. On street parking was never an issue. Place was spotless and well equipped. Bed very comfortable. Host was very gracious and helpful. I’d go back!

A wonderful stay in a truly special property! It is so comfortable, beautifully styled, and full of historic charm. The neighborhood is very walkable, with fantastic coffee shops, restaurants, and museums nearby. Steve was an excellent host - I would love to return!
