if you want to be disoriented you have come across the right location.
a small village full of Valencian living with its inhabitants who snack at the bar in the morning (sacred moment) .. 'The picture is worth it 'because it is proof of a difference in culture
you will be welcomed
 There are many convenience stores and bars where you can taste the specialties of the region (or even take them home) for a very low price.
you will be able to find at the same time the pleasures of the beach which is only about twenty kilometers and the peace of a village which is surrounded by orange trees, plums ect ...
for those who love hiking the scenery is beautiful and there are many hiking trails.
It's the same for cycling. It seems that the roads are very popular with cyclists of all kinds
nearby you can visit Xativa with its castle that sparkles on the mountain at night. Do not forget to visit VALENCIA capital of the region.
Throughout the summer the villages celebrate their saints and we can admire the flamboyant parades of 'moros y cristians'

Very clean. Marie Carmen was caring and helpful. Really helped us with our Spanish too. Lots of good advice re places to go and see/eat. Lovely garden, terraces balconies and pool area. Little oasis in a small village. Many thanks for a great rest!

Tres bon séjour dans l'ensemble

Village très sympa en plus nous avons eu la chance de vivre les 2 semaines de fête a Barxeta et les habitants sont tres accueillants. Carmen est une hôte tres agreable, serviable et pleine de bons conseils sur les visites à faire. La piscine est top mais par contre le logement est vieillot et quelque peu rudimentaire. Attention contrairement à l'annonce abritel il n'y a ni lave linge ni lave vaisselle.

Excellent séjour

Bel appartement climatisé très fonctionnel pour 4 personnes dans un lieu calme et reposant situé dans un joli petit village aux multiples petits commerces. Le patio qui nous conduit à chaque appartement est juste magnifique, tout ombragé, on peut s'y poser un moment sur un fauteuil au son de la fontaine qui coule, il nous conduit au sommet pour profiter de la piscine avec une vue imparable sur les montagnes. La propriétaire qui parle français est adorable et de très bon conseil pour nous faire découvrir sa région. Je vous recommande sans hésiter à venir découvrir ce lieu.

Super hébergement format pension de famille avec piscine

Petit appartement sans prétention en cœur de village, avec une grande terrasse et une piscine qui ravit les enfants et les parents. Les propriétaires qui habitent sur place sont très sympathiques, et toujours de bon conseil pour quoi que ce soit. Ambiance familiale, à moins d’une demi-heure des plages, à dix minutes d’une petite ville où l’on trouve tout, y compris le train pour aller à Valence. Nous recommandons chaudement l’hébergement. Un grand merci à Carmen, Esperanza et Gauthier pour l’accueil chaleureux.

Une très belle découverte

Le village à taille humaine permet une immersion dans la vie locale et l'environnement au milieu des montagnes et des champs d'orangers permet une tranquillité et un dépaysement total. Marie Carmen, la propriétaire, est tout simplement adorable et pleine d'attentions tant pour les grands que les petits, elle nous a également fait découvrir des randonnées dans les alentours. Le type de famille que cet endroit simple attire permet de belles rencontres autour de la piscine ou au détour des terrasses. Nous avons adoré notre séjour et les environs, seul bémol la qualité de la literie et l'équipement de la cuisine, mais cela n'a entaché en rien le plaisir de notre séjour.

Marie-Carmen, la propriétaire nous à très bien reçu à notre arrivé et durant tout le séjour elle a été disponible pour nous. Notre fils de 12 ans a même eu le droit à des cours d'espagnol 😉. La propriété est dans un petit village de 1700 habitants, la ville la plus proche est à 10 minutes en voiture avec un magnifique château à visiter Xativa. Si vous aimez le silence, la nature, randonnée ce lieu est fait pour vous. Le coin piscine est juste super les enfants tout comme nous avons su en profiter. Transat , balançoires à disposition et grand terrain pour badminton, pétanque....

A home away from home. We were welcomed from the outset and Mari Carmen and her family could not have done more to ensure we felt right at home. Children were well catered for, the swimming pool and location were excellent and the proximity to town and all of the local amenities perfect. Mari Carmen showed us around and ensured that we knew where all of the important things were - the best bar, the best hikes for kids and the park. We didn't want to leave :(

"WE FOUND AN OASIS IN THE SKY IN BARXETA"

We arrived at the front door of a standard looking terraced property in Barxeta which opened up to the most amazing world up above! Going up around twelve fairly steep steps you get to the door of the joint owners apartment and then up another twelve or so steep steps you are on the main outside terrace level. Thankfully at this level we were guided to our two bedroom large self contained apartment with massive outside terrace ideal for sunbathing or al fresco dining. Amazingly there are fourteen self contained apartments all along the outside terrace which above also has upper terraces of wonderful scenting flowers. From there you go further up into the sky to an even higher level and steeper steps where you come across the true 'oasis in the sky' - a massive and superb pool complex where you can relax and swim whenever the hot Spanish sun gets too hot. What an incredible find and place! There are two wonderful owner hosts in Esperanza and her sister Carmen who arrived after we had been there for 3 weeks. Esperanza mainly communicated with us in French rather than Spanish and speaks no English but she was so lovely in making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Carmen speaks excellent English and took us out to experience the local Spanish evening festivities and like her sister is a truly wonderful and friendly person. Please go visit and experience for yourself and especially if you want the freedom to come and go to carry out missions like our own as we stayed for eight weeks searching for our 'Dream Home in Spain' as you will not find any other 'Oasis in the Sky'!

Alojamiento en un pueblo en lo alto de una ladera muy tranquilo.

Ideal para familias que busquen tranquilidad sin planes para dar paseos a la noche. Está bien pero si te gusta bajar a la playa, tienes de 30 a 50 minutos a las playas mas cercanas debido a tener q pasar un puerto de montaña. No recomendable para gente que quiera hacer planes de noche. Por lo demas un sitio tranquilo con su piscina para no salir. Para comprar, hay 2 pequeñas tiendas, si quieres supermercados como Mercadona tienes otros 15 minutos en coche para ir a Xativa, el pueblo mas cercano. El trato de los inquilinos inmejorable. Muy buena gente.
