Tucked into the beauty of the North Carolina mountains, Solace Ridge is more than a place to stay—it is an intentionally designed sanctuary created for rest, restoration, and meaningful reconnection.
After the heartbreaking loss of our son, we longed for a space where healing could begin—a place where the peace of the mountains, the stillness of nature, and the warmth of thoughtful design could offer comfort. This retreat was born from that journey.
Every detail of this boutique mountain getaway has been carefully curated to create an atmosphere of solace, serenity, and renewal. Whether you're seeking a quiet couples retreat, a restorative solo escape, or a peaceful getaway to reconnect with what matters most, this space invites you to slow down and breathe deeply.
What makes this retreat special:
* Stunning mountain views * Expansive private deck designed for relaxation * Cozy fire table for peaceful evenings under the stars * Boutique-inspired interiors with thoughtfully layered textures * Warm, modern design with intentional touches * Peaceful spaces for morning coffee, reflection, reading, or prayer * Conveniently located near Banner Elk, Boone, Grandfather Mountain, and outdoor adventure
Here, guests can experience both proximity to local attractions and the deeper gift of retreat—quiet mornings, mountain air, fireside evenings, and the restorative beauty of creation.
Whether you come to celebrate, grieve, reconnect, or simply pause, we hope this space offers the same sense of peace and restoration that it continues to offer our family.
Come find respite. Come breathe deeply. Come reconnect.

This special place was everything it said it was and much more!So close to so many sites. The nature surrounding is beautiful. We loved the porch in the mornings and the evenings. It is so beautifully decorated and comfortable with many comforting candles, blankets and pillows. Everything was very clean and well maintained. We came for rest and refreshment from a busy summer and we left with new perspectives and clarity and ready for getting back to the real world. We will definitely come back for another stay and retreat.
